Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lokva Rogoznica

This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

I cannot begin to describe how lovely our stay was. From the moment we arrived with cold drinks and fruit waiting in the fridge, to even the ac being on, nothing was overlooked. Beach towels and all varieties of coffee, tea, entry items and even useful items in the bathroom. The location is so beautiful, walking around the neighbourhood and down to the beach was something we looked forward to daily. There’s also a grocery store and produce stands right across that were very useful. Omiš is a short drive and such a charming town full of stores restaurants and cafes. Overall we had the most incredible stay and can’t wait to come back.

SHE House was as advertised. We quickly called her home feeling acclimated & comfortable. Our GPS sent us some terrible way initially but the locals were very friendly offering us assistance. Our host was patient & accommodating showing us how many ways to reach the house ("all roads lead to SHE House"). We really enjoyed how centrally located the home was to all things on Brac Island. We realized our visit was a bit early for the weather & the season when our original ferry from Makarska was cancelled due to bad weather but no worries we just had to go to Split. The wind was so strong it actually blew open the latched front door one afternoon. The soft throws in the basket were nice & cozy-really appreciated. Some of our favorite meals were at Pumparela Restaurant & Taverna Riva in Bol; Konoba Kopacina & Restaurant Ziza in Donji Humac; Gastro Diva in Makarska. Driving in Croatia is NOT for the faint of heart but if you happen to be on the D8 stop for coffee at Strada.

Rest in this house is super comfortable and cozy. Perfect place for family vacation with children. We are sure that we will return here next season.

We had a brilliant stay here - the house and garden are perfect and Marina is a 10/10 host.

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

This place is absolutely like the pictures let you imagine. Peaceful und privat. It was great watching the amazing view to the Sea in the hammock with different colours at different times of the day and night. The apartment was well equipment Kitchen and clean spaces. Spacious parkingspot for even a big car. We're coming back, thanks Marko! 😊

If you're looking for somewhere quiet to escape the main tourist spots and use as a base for exploring Croatia, this is the ideal hideaway. The area is peaceful and full of the sounds of nature, and there's a convenience store just a few minutes walk away. There's a large off road parking area which was extremely welcome as parking elsewhere in the country was tricky at best... The space itself is well equipped, has everything required to cook your own meals, and kept fairly cool throughout the day thanks to the thick stone walls. You are in the countryside though, so be prepared to meet some interesting bugs... We throughly enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to anyone.

It’s hard to put into words how amazing this place is, the house is stunning and unique in its location and direst access to the sea! I was dubious when I saw all of the positive reviews but this home truly exceeds expectations. It’s beautiful, has great facilities and the beds are SO comfortable and the aircon works really well so it’s always cool. We did struggle to get around without a car but we were recommended a wonderful taxi driver who took us around everywhere! Can’t recommend this place enough and hope to come back again soon! Our holiday in Pisak was wonderful, also due to the beautifully located apartment. Several small beaches are immediately and quickly accessible on foot. They were sparsely frequented and surrounded by beautiful rocks and trees. Simply fantastic. The water was crystal clear and shimmered turquoise blue. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. There was also no shortage of necessary equipment. Mario surprised us with a plate of ham and cheese and a bottle of wine. Thanks to the air conditioning, the temperatures at night were fine, you should just make sure to always leave the door to the bedroom wide open, as the device is in the hallway. A mosquito net is only on the bedroom window, a mosquito door to the balcony would be a small suggestion. It was an unforgettable stay that we can only recommend!

Wow! First of all, the house is right next to the sea with a gorgeous patio and breathtaking views. You enter through a stunning garden, up a few steps to the terrace with the garden view and then enter to a spacious, airy space that has nice decor and everything you need. Beautiful beaches are just steps away. Walk around the corner to the harbor and a choice of restaurants, ice cream shops, and coffee shops. Postira is a charming, historic, clean island village. I would absolutely visit again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We enjoyed our time at Kikica. Peaceful, nice surroundings, easy and short access to the beach which we really enjoyed. In the house you’ll find everything you can imagine, from shower gels to plastic bags for ice cubes :) very clean! Ana was very responsive though messages for any advice it help. Unfortunately we didn’t meet but maybe next time because we are coming aging for shure. Thank you Ana!

We felt very comfortable in Zrinka's apartment. You were quickly at a very nice quiet beach, and could start the day in the morning with a view of the sea on the large balcony while having breakfast. The location of the accommodation was very quiet, you could reach supermarkets from here in max. 10 minutes but also beautiful cities such as Omís, or Split. About Zrinka, you can only say that she is a great and warm hostess, approachable and helpful at all times.💕 The holiday with her was very relaxing, we will be happy to come back!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay! Antonia is such a warm and kind person. She helped us out with questions, ordered a taxi for us, and recommendations of where to go on the island. The apartment itself is beautiful and cozy. Thank you Antonia for a wonderful time and for your husband who showed up the ferry with my name on it, and the delicious snacks, wine, and marmalade. It meant a lot.

The host also has a cafe just under the Airbnb - she’s very friendly and they have a little community going on for them. Place was prestine clean and let me re-emphasise on their friendliness and eagerness to give you the best time :)

Large apartment, very comfortable, with parking, very close to the bridge to the old town. The host is extremely delicate and kind.

Maya, her son, and father are amazing!!! Very friendly and accommodating. We spent the most time here during our 2 week Euro trip. Fantastic views from the balcony and a great place to relax with lounge chairs and a table to eat at. Right on the water with a great walk down to the shore where you can jump right into the sea! Space was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was SO nice. By far the nicest bathroom of anywhere we stayed. Maya's father took us out on his boat with his beagle. It was amazing. He knew the best spots, shared cool information/stories. It was a very authentic/non touristy experience. Maya let us borrow snorkel gear and that was beyond awesome because we snorkeled in the sea by the house but also on our boat trip which was truly special. She also provided homemade olive oil which was divine. WONDERFUL experience and stay.

We really enjoyed our stay and agree that the balcony is the best place to enjoy coffee in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. Loved being able to quickly walk into town but also being away from the crowds a bit. The views were amazing, the apartment space was huge and we loved having a washing machine to do laundry. Ericka and her husband were so helpful with suggestion of where to eat and places to walk, to the amazing reference book in the apartment. Would definitely choose the apartment when in town!

We stayed a week at the apartment. Lea and her family were very friendly and helpful. Private beach right outside. Supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Uber to Split took around 20 minutes and cost 10-15 euro. We had a wonderful time, would recommend!

The Studio flat was really great with everything you need for a holiday. It is very close to Split airport so only 10 minuits by taxi. Enough distance so that there is hardly any aircraft noise. It is literally across the road from the beach. All the beaches have fine slightly sharp gravel so take beach shoes. The Island of Trogir is a 10 minuite bus journey ride away that stops practically outside the door. You can also easily bus to many little beaches with changing places and showers. There are Water sports, buses, water taxis close by and a ferry to Split. The host is really nice, always contactable, very helpful and full of local knowledge. I cannot recommend the wonderful host and her family enough in this perfect location.

This was the PERFECT place to stay in Split. The location was ideal for us — close enough to walk easily to town, but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Easy access to the beach. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a view we will never forget. Igor was a wonderful host, very kind and helpful, and gave us some wonderful recommendations for food and drinks in town! Highly recommend and hope we can make it back someday.

Excellent location. Right next Marjan park. walkable distance to many places including old city and port. Sunny rooftop 1 bedroom appartment is very cozy with all needed amenities. View of the port is a huge relaxing point. Watching cruises and ferries. Waking up with birds, sunrise over the mountains. Love it. And highly recommend.
