The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

An absolutely secluded location on a mountain, between forest and fields – in the romantic, park-like garden of Villa Sunnyside, above Pillnitz Castle. It is a kind of hotel room by the forest. What makes it special is that a gable wall is completely glazed, allowing a view of the greenery from the loft bed. The cottage can only be heated with an oil radiator and can therefore only be booked in the warmer seasons!
