Monthly Rentals in Lochyside

This cozy little bungalow is perfect for couples! Just a half hour bus ride from Fort William, this location is great for folks wanting to explore Ben Nevis and Fort William itself. There are plenty of beautiful walks and cafes nearby. Less than a half hour walk from Caol Beach, Neptune's Staircase, and a footpath across the river where you can watch the Jacobite Train ride by. The space itself is adorable! The decor was so cozy and inviting. I loved the added touches of hot chocolate, specialty teas, porridge, and snacks available in the kitchen. It had everything we needed for cooking. And the view was amazing! One thing to note is that the one bathroom is an ensuite bathroom for the bedroom. I was traveling with a friend who stayed on the sofa bed, which made sharing the bathroom during the night a bit tricky, as it meant having to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. This might be good for folks who may not be sharing a bed/bedroom to keep in mind.

We had a (short) but really nice stay at Margaret's. The lodge is quite new and was perfectly clean, with a very nice bathroom and well equipped. Also the laundry softener for the sheets smelled lovely! It’s located in a very quiet neighborhood with a few supermarkets nearby. Margaret herself was also very nice and even let us check-in a bit earlier.

it is a beautiful little cabin with a fantastic view and Nicky is a lovely host.

Don’t be deterred by the typical Scottish semi-detached cream exterior! The house has been fully renovated and is fantastic. A very comfortable house with all the required amenities. The bedrooms are large, and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen/dining is large. Having a car to go down to the old part of Fort William was ideal. The shops (Aldi and M & S) are walkable. A great option for a stay in Fort William.
