Monthly Rentals in Lochbuie

We loved the house, peaceful and out of the way location. Loved the log fire. First time on the west coast and will definitely return 5*

My partner and I stayed on the island for 4 nights over Easter weekend, and were completely enchanted by Gometra and the bothy. It was easier than we expected to get there, with the helpful community transport available on Mull, and the on-demand ferry between Mull and Ulva. A gentle 3.5 hr hike from Ulva Ferry, the bothy was easy to find, located at the foot of a crag with a beautiful view of the coast. The well-stocked honesty shop was around 1km away, making it easy to pick up what we needed for meals each day. The island was very peaceful, occasionally running into Roc and Rhoda, while Andy kept us well stocked with firewood . Our hosts were very responsive to messages and made a remote stay feel very easy to accomplish! The wood-burning stove was an absolute must, and we enjoyed being off grid and electricity-free for a long weekend of exploring, reading and relaxing.

The accommodation was lovely, really clean, spacious, peaceful and with lots of little extras. Anna and Peter were very friendly, welcoming and responded quickly to any questions. To be recommended!

The Studio's accommodation and outdoor space are perfectly wonderful. Colin and Jackie are great hosts. Quarry swimming surrounded by that west coast scenery is magical. Easdale's "The Puffer" cafe/bar and "Siabann" soap company are excellent. On Seil, an hour walking on Ellenabeich Hill and a stroll around An Cala garden are lovely. From the 9.15am ferry we cycled to Luing's ferry and had plenty of time on Luing to explore it's roads and to enjoy the "Atlantic Island Centre" with good bookshop and a cafe serving seafood and Luing beef. The shop on Seil had limited fresh foods, dependent on delivery day, but possibly can place request.
