Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Loch Ness

What a gem!! We enjoyed our stay so much! The home was cozy , comfortable and in an amazing area. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. The town and people of Nairn are lovely. Staying here was a highlight of our holiday and we highly recommend it!

We had a great long weekend at Lewis Cottage! Great location - only 5 mins drive to Pitlochry which has some lovely walks and cafes. The cottage is spacious & has a lovely garden. Very peaceful location with lovely views. The house was very clean & had everything we needed. Look forward to staying again.

This property has everything you could ever want in a break away with family and friends. Quiet and secluded while still be closer enough to Drum for a night out or supplies. The house was really well done with a homely feel that set you at ease straightaway. Being able to relax by the river and having a huge garden to relax in were the highlight for me. But the best part of this trip was Kay herself. Full of local recommendations and very responsive, we never struggled for things to do. Also her little touches were fantastic. The best host I've ever had while staying in Airbnb's!! Would stay with her again in a heartbeat

We had a fabulous stay! Mimi was so accommodating and showed us around and the kids loved her! It was such a magical stay and we made memories that we will cherish forever. We will definitely come back!

We cannot fully put into words how special Elizabeth’s place is. By far, it is one of the best Air BnB’s we’ve stayed at in the Highlands. If you’re looking for a peaceful hub to visit all the sights. If you’re looking for a refuge, you don’t need to leave the property. As a host, Elizabeth went above and beyond, anticipating our needs, providing recommendations, and even offering a welcome basket.

The Ness Garden is an oasis away from home. Clean and bright and beautifully decorated. It is peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed our breakfasts on the patio in the garden. The bed is comfortable and the shower is specious with a rain head shower. The off street parking is very convenient. The location is perfect. A 15 -20 minute walk to the shops and coffee shops and restaurants along the beautiful Ness Walk. We visited Culloden Battlefield and the less touristy Loch Ness at Dores village and beach. We will definitely return here again during our next Scotland vacation. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Siâns house was beautifully decorated, and a perfect place to stay. Close to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, co-op groceries and a lovely pizza place. We really appreciated the wash machine!

Loved our stay. Cosy, well-set-up apartment just across the river from central Inverness. Rebecca was great - even had a parking pass and fresh bread and milk for when we arrived. Definitely recommend - and definitely deserving of super-host title.

Stefan was quick to respond, and very helpful. Accommodation was perfect for what we needed, and provided a good home away from home. Would happily return for short or extended periods of time.

Though the place is way off the town, it's still very convenient for those who drive. The accommodation is fully equipped as described in the listing.

Everything about our stay in the boys dormitory was superb. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in such a unique accommodation especially with all of the access to the abbeys modern facilities was a huge bonus. Me and my wife couldn’t get enough of the lake views from our sitting room.

Chris and Sarah’s place is easily one of the finest Airbnbs we’ve ever experienced. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The place has everything you needed and more! (Thank you for the Scottish Shortbread biscuits). The panoramic views are breathtaking, our only regret is not having more time to have a cup of tea at the front yard. Above all, Chris and Sarah’s warmth made us feel instantly at home. Their hospitality set a new standard for us, and we’ll be recommending their getaway to any friends traveling to this part of the world!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this stay! Isabelle & Robert were the most welcoming & gracious hosts. Isabelle made a gluten free tea cake for me that was out of this world-in fact she gave me the recipe as I requested it! She had many great recommendations in the area & for stops on our way back to Edinburgh - all were fantastic! Including a stop to feed the Highland Cows! ❤️ The amenities were perfect with ample parking. A nice walkable village too with lots to do in the area-perfect location! Thank you again, Isabelle & Robert, for your hospitality! You truly love what you do-it shows.

Highly recommend booking this BnB! It was clean, quiet, and walkable to just about anything you could want. The host is very kind and provides thorough information about check-in, parking, etc.

Andrew’s place was a perfect base for a few days of hiking. It is a short walk to the train and bus, and there is a small grocery store even closer. The place was clean and had a nice modern kitchen. After our days of walking in the highlands, we appreciated showers or baths with lots of pressure and hot water. The idea of paying for the heat you use makes some sense too.

In all the rentals we’ve stayed in, Catherine’s is one of the best. The attention to detail she has put in, really shows. Everything you need is thought of and provided, plus the little extras. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and the views from the garden can’t be beat! Perfectly located for exploring. Without hesitation would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Inverness.

This place was just like the description. The location is very walkable, but out of the busy tourist center so it’s very quiet. Everything I needed was provided, which made the stay very easy. I would stay here again if I visit Inverness again.

Beautiful apartment in a lovely old building close to the high street. Well equipped kitchen allowed us to take a travel break and cook our own meals . Loved the library! So many interesting books as well as the collection and games! Enough to keep us amused for weeks.Thanks for a great stay. 😊

The pictures do not do justice to this stunning place. Rosanna was helpful with her suggestions for nearby resturants, shopping and basically everything under the sun! Trust her directions and all her suggestions! The property was fully furnished and stocked and beautiful. I stayed up late watching the sun set over the ben nevis. The sky windows are amazing. Cannot recommend her property enough!

Such a comfortable and spacious place! It had everything we needed and then some—little extras like coffee, snacks, cotton swabs in the bathroom, and even nice shampoo, conditioner, and soap. All the thoughtful touches really made it feel like home.
