We had a lovely weekend here, the surroundings are beautiful it’s the perfect place if you’re looking to switch off. Simon recommended great things to do & places to eat.

We all wished we had booked another night here. The cottage is so idyllic and made you feel so at home with how cosy it was. The log burners were our favourite feature, and the open dining room made for a fab place for a games night. If we were ever to climb Yr Wyddfa again, this is definitely the place we’d book, even with the drive being just over an hour. Thank you Clare for letting us stay in your beautiful home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the accommodation was fantastic, everything we needed and very clean. Garden area lovely for our little dog and so many birds singing. Loved that gated area for the car too. Wonderful scenery in the area to walk or drive around. Everyone in the area very friendly and everywhere clean. A peaceful and relaxing stay with beautiful scenery and plenty of walks near by which was perfect for us. Bala is just a few minutes drive away which has all the amenities you'd need for a short or long stay. We took our fairly reactive dog with us and she settled in right away and slept soundly through the night. We cooked a roast on the first night and the kitchen was well equipped for this 🙂 Wifi was good in the lounge and we loved the DVD collection! The bedroom was downstairs and the bathroom upstairs, but this didnt bother us at all! Just something to bare in mind for those who aren't as abled. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting a break from the hustle and bustle and for those who love walking/water activities 😁
