The Church is a charming converted Victorian church situated in a peaceful setting in the friendly town of Oswestry. The three-bedroom property retains many beautiful features with vaulted ceiling and rustic oak beams. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in the Welsh hills, it’s a walkers paradise or simply a relaxing place to get away from it all listening to the stream at the end of the garden. For 2024 we have introduced a hot tub so after a hard day walking you can relax in the hot tub overlooking the river. If you need to work from the cottage we now have Starlink. This will enable our guests to have brilliant internet use to complete pieces of work or just browse your socials!

This 3 bed spacious house has a large kitchen diner with 1800s bread oven feature, comfortable lounge, 3 generous bedrooms one with ensuite and large family bathroom with freestanding bath and spacious shower. Lovely country village location with two family pubs, a park great for children and a large independant supermarket which sells everything you could need. Plenty of lovely country walks straight from the door perfect for a getaway or home from home when working away.

SEVERNSIDE ANNEX

The annexe is situated next to our home with its own private access so you can be completely independent. It’s in the small village of Four Crosses near the England/Wales border and can sleep five people in two bedrooms, one king-size double and one family room comprising three single beds. The ground floor has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled patio with garden furniture.

Spacious 4 bed cottage situated a stones throw from the beautiful Lake Vyrnwy. Ideal location for walkers, cyclists, families and couples just wishing to escape busy life. Learn to windsurf or take out a canoe or rowing boat on the lake. Spend the day clay pigeon shooting, or enjoy the spa and afternoon tea at the Lake Vyrnwy hotel. The stunning Aberdyfi beach is only 29 miles away from Bryn Du. Snowdon 34 miles, and Europes longest zip line 38 miles from the cottage.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers and families with a kid (kids at a push)

Penylan farmhouse is part of a large Georgian house built in the late 18th century alongside the beautiful Vyrnwy river valley overlooking Meifod in Montgomeryshire, Mid Wales, with 6 bedrooms, room for friends and families from any number up to 12 people. Christmas and New Year 2023/24 is currently available but not open the site so please message us any requests.
