With it's 4.5m ceilings, the stabl comes with an airy bedroom with kingsize sleigh bed, en-suite with walk-in shower, sitting room with reclaimed kitchenette and breakfast bar, and a hayloft with a kingsize futon hidden on top for the brave. Inside it retains the old stone walls to our cottage which feature both in the bedroom and living room . It has been finished to a high standard and is ideally suited for two people but there is a sofa bed in the living area. ONE PET only . We are situated 3miles from the seaside town of NewQuay (Wales) with its sandy beaches and Dolphins. Walking distance of the Coastal path.

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Enjoy the utter peace and tranquility of the cottage and its surroundings and use it as a base to explore the local Cardigan Bay area, with its beautiful beaches and seaside towns and villages. We are very central within the county of Ceredigion.

We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.
