The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. This delightful shepherd's hut situated on our smallholding in West Wales (lovingly built using low impact and reclaimed materials), offers a fantastic base to explore the nearby beaches, mountains and other attractions. The thoughtfully furnished interior includes a super comfy double bed, simple kitchen and cosy woodburner. Outside is a large decking area, your own unique walk in spiral shower and a separate compost loo.

Glovers Cottage is without doubt something unique. As you enter you will be struck by the space and the overwhelming character of this detached building. The owner has deliberately left the barn open-plan for guests to appreciate the huge A-frame beams and stonework. A feature handmade bed sits on the first level as you enter, and this area leads down two steps to the flagstone floor.
