Newly built sauna (ready to use), but the exterior and gazebo are still under construction. Quiet area close to forest with nice trails, including Bergslagsleden. Golf course about 3 km away.

Nearby you have paintball, go-kart & elk safari, long-distance skates, adventure trail, tennis court, cross-country skis, canoe or kayak rental. Ställbergs Rökeri where you can buy locally sourced rapeseed oil, honey and smoked fish. About 20 minutes away there is a smaller ski resort, Fjällberget. 1 hour to Romme! 10 minutes by car to Djäkens swimming area with sandy beach.

FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

You can swim in the lake, fish, hike in the surrounding nature, cycle, read on the porch directly on the lake or simply enjoy the view and unwind. In Kloten, about 10 km away, there is the possibility to rent canoes or bicycles. In Kopparberg, about 12 km away, there are good shopping opportunities, cafes, restaurants, museums...

The farm is located about 6 km north of Lindesberg. On the property, there are sheep and horses. Around there are nice walking paths and wonderful nature with mushroom and berry fields. About 30 km to the north is Kloten's fishing area. Close to Bergslagsleden. Swimming areas are located in the nearby area. Distance to Stockholm about 18 miles and to Örebro about 4.5 miles. Lindesberg has a train station.

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals.
