The Hideaway is a great place to stay. The location is ideal for exploring the Derbyshire Peak District. Tideswell is a small picturesque village which provides a peaceful backdrop to any stay. The hosts are friendly, helpful and available to solve any queries or questions you may have. The property itself is small but very well equipped and space has been used cleverly. Parking is available on the drive outside the hosts house and the hideaway is located up some steps and down an alleyway which leads to the shared courtyard and the entrance. We would certainly stay here again if we wanted to visit the area.

The place was very comfortable and homely with a gorgeous view of large fields with friendly horses for neighbours! Julie and Steve left some amazing homemade brownies and were on hand to sort some extra pillows and for a nice chat about local walks. Litton is gorgeous, especially the pie from the local pub! Would highly recommend a stay here, we loved it!

Lovely very clean property, Fiona’s instruction were very helpful and informative and made finding the property and check in very efficient. Very cosy with plenty of blankets provided for an extra bit of warmth. Ideal locations with plenty of walks close by and a short drive away. However we did find the church bells rather annoying at times,however that is not a reflection on Fiona or the property itself. As both were brilliant.
