Super séjour dans un super logement. La clim a été un vrai plus avec la chaleur lors de notre venue. La situation pour accéder à la vielle ville est idéale. Nous reviendrons surement mais plutôt en septembre car vraiment beaucoup de monde en aout. Sarlat est une ville magnifique avec plein de choses à faire autour.

The pictures do not do Elise's home justice, the view across to Belves were stunning. In a super location, remote and private. The house and facilities were very well equipped with everything you could need, and the very large pool was perfect. Spotlessly clean and very welcome with my two children rarely out of it! Thoroughly recommended - we would love to return!

Nous étions un groupe de 12 personnes et les commentaires sont unanime : Magnifique Ça fait déjà quelques années que nous partons en vadrouille un peu partout en France, et je vous assure que rarement on rencontre un endroit aussi paisible, avec une maison aussi bien équipée. Nous avons été très bien reçu. Un grand merci pour cette délicieuse parenthèse de quatre jours dans un cadre de calme absolu. À bientôt RG

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce havre de paix. Au calme au milieu de la nature, à la fois proche des lieux touristiques que nous souhaitions visiter en Dordogne (Sarlat à 20min), le logement est très fonctionnel et agréable, la literie est également très confortable. Nous avons surtout vécu à l’extérieur, au bord de la magnifique piscine à débordement. Enfin, Betty et son mari sont d’une gentillesse sans pareil, c’était un plaisir d’échanger avec eux, nous gardons l’adresse pour des futures vacances 😊 merci encore !

Un site merveilleux offrant tout le confort dans un cadre naturel et champêtre. Olivier et Simon se sont montrés disponibles et chaleureux. Les prestations offertes sur place sont remarquables (équipements cuisines, jeux, VTT, etc.). Nous recommandons.

This is a good sized property, perfect for our party of 9, which included a 1 year old. Three bathrooms, two kitchen areas and two lounges plus two terraces. Meal prep was great as plenty of space, utensils, pots, pans etc, and crockery. The pool was amazing, sunken with steps into it, gated too, and lots of loungers and two good sized parasols, we took advantage of this by night swimming too, in a little pool. Couldn’t ask for better hosts than Jan and Ningsih, from the lovely welcome and telling us about places to go etc, to bringing over some things for the baby, they were there but not there if that makes sense. They made us feel like we could be at home for the two weeks. Really quiet location, friendly locals and a car is essential! The pictures really don’t do the property justice and we absolutely loved it there, we would definitely go back there without a doubt. Thanks to our hosts for a memorable holiday. Arrived at the Gite after a long, hot journey to be greeted with a warm welcome from Simone, Michelle's sister who lives on-site, who was really helpful and imparted much of her local knowledge with recommendations of where to go and what was of interest. The location and space the Gite is situated is fantastic as a peaceful getaway but there is also plenty to do and explore locally. We hired the larger Gite of the two as we were a party of eight which easily accommodated us all comfortably. We had a great stay and would definitely book again

Accueil chaleureux d'Alexandrine. Le cadre est magnifique, tranquille, en pleine nature, sans aucun bruit environnant. Parking gratuit devant la porte. L'appartement correspond parfaitement à la description. Il est en excellent état. L'équipement est complet, il ne manque rien. C'est un bon point de départ pour randonner à vélo, à pieds et il n'est qu'à quelques kilomètres de Sarlat, Souillac et la vallée de la Dordogne avec tous les beaux châteaux. Merci à nos hôtes pour cet agréable séjour.

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour chez Géraldine, la salle de jeux est un vrai plus, notre fille à adoré et nous aussi ! Notre fille était ravie de la balade a poney et de voir les chèvres et les cochons dinde. Nous avons pu passé un week-end de déconnection et ça fait du bien de se retrouver dans la nature !

What can I say, the place is amazing, quiet but lots to do a short drive away if you want to, we just enjoyed the peace & quiet, it’s so a peaceful there, Sue & Gary went above and beyond to make our stay as friendly and homely as possible, I could go on forever, suffice to say we will back, that’s a promise, sitting at Calais waiting to board the ferry home and still feel sad to be gone from The Forge and Sue & Gary

Pauline was a great host. Welcomed us in person and showed us around the house. The accommodation was spotless and very well equipped. We enjoyed playing table tennis and boules. We took cycle rides to the nearby villages and went wine tasting at local vineyards. We walked round the nearby lake where you could also go kayaking or paddle boarding. The beautiful town of Eymet was only a short walk away. And when the sun came out we lay by the pool

We stayed for 3 nights in September. The place is great, with a lot of character. We had a car so didnt need to find out about public transport - probably not available. We had the use of the small pool (there is a big pool available in the property for a cottage different from the one we stayed at). The water was 20-22 C. Quiet neighbourhood with walking and cycle track. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its a tasteful conversion from an old building, with some low ceilings in places. Well appointed kitchen, a small BBQ with outdoor seating in the back as well as in the front of the cottage. Linda was welcoming, accommodating and helpful.

Pauline est une hôte très accueillante. L’accès est simple et stationnement pour une ou plusieurs voitures devant le logement. Panier d’accueil bien fourni. Tout est très propre. Cuisine bien équipée, il manque juste une cafetière électrique. Le logement ne dispose pas de chauffage central, il y a cependant des radiateurs à bain d’huile dans chaque pièce, mais il faut les éteindre la nuit. Frileux s’abstenir si vous souhaitez séjourner chez Pauline l’hiver. En revanche, très bel endroit pour le printemps et l’été. Je recommande.

We loved our stay! It was a beautiful space - separated form the main house with our own terrace. Pool was great and out kids loved the trampoline and large chess set. It's in a beautiful spot - very peaceful and Julia and Baptitse were lovely and so helpful!

Logement nickel, calme propre bien situé, proche de la ville a pied , parking disponible, petite terrasse personnelle. Hôtes parfait très bonne communication et réactivité. je recommande vivement ces personnes pour toutes leur qualités.

Super logement ! Correspond aux attentes Très pratique d’accès et on a beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions pour bien profiter du jacuzzi !

We stayed for two weeks with our three children (all under 6) and loved it. The house is beautiful and the pool and hot tub are perfect for both the children and as parents. The house was exactly as described and everything was very clean and very welcoming. Very happily recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay that’s close to lots of lovely towns to explore, like Duras that is 5 mins down the road. Marie Noelle was a super host. Very responsive and helped us with everything throughout the stay. Thank you!

Belle maison familiale et très bel extérieur, environnement paisible. Nous avons passés un agréable séjour, la maison peut accueillir de manière confortable une grande famille.

Excellent séjour chez Alain et son épouse. Très bel accueil, cadre vraiment très agréable et reposant. Petit cocon idéal pour un week-end en amoureux ou entre amis. À proximité du gouffre de Padirac, de Rocamadour et de plein de petits villages très mignons !

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans ce lieu , berçé par le son du Mars , les chants des oiseaux , au beau milieu d ' une vallée exceptionnelle, le gite est top ,la literie est de très bonne qualité 😊.Nous le recommandons aux amoureux de la nature et du Cantal, merci a cloé et sa petite famille . Je recherchais un endroit en campagne calme loin du bruit et c'est parfaitement le cas. La communication est tout de suite passée avec Aline et son mari, on se sent en confiance tout de suite. Un accueil parfait et une arrivée flexible possible sans problème. Je recommande et reviendrait avec plaisir.
