Le Moulin de la Forge: loft between woods and river

In the heart of the Périgord Limousin Regional Natural Park, 30 minutes from Limoges: at the exit of the village, past the stone bridge, the alley of old trees welcomes you in a bath of greenery. The wooded land on 6 ha is nestled in a meander of the small river, the Gorre. The mill is located along the head race; a bamboo grove softens the northern flank while to the south, the terrace of the cottage overlooks the edge of the woods. The facade mirrors the old dwelling house and the ruined barn.

All mod cons are provided: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, wood-burning stove, TV.

Bonjour and a warm welcome to you! :) We are Sandra and Roy, two young Germans who settled in the green heart of France at the end of 2020. We speak a little French, English and our native language, German. We invite you to discover the calm and magic of our new home. At our place, you'll find a rustic veggie garden and free-roaming animals like two nice pigs, lovely chickens, ducks, rabbits, and our two cats, named Panthera and Chaudchat.

Extra bed linen and towels: €9 per person. Bois de Faral is a village of cottages, respectful of the environment. Not just for the environment, which is so pretty in the Lot, but because we humans live in this environment that we would like to be as healthy as possible to be well. Come and discover the Moulin de Verrines, in Creuse! It is a fully restored 19th century building housed in a green and calm setting. A fully equipped cottage for 4 to 6 people awaits you. Swimming pool open from mid-May, 2x400 Mb fiber optics, linens, bath towels and sheets are provided. Some dates are blocked, but if they match the dates you are interested in, please let us know.
