Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Great stay! The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped, exactly as described. Very well located, with several nice cities nearby for sightseeing.

We had a lovely and quiet stay at Graham's. The kids really enjoyed the pool (shared) and spa (private). We will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

This country guest home is a great setting to relax, and rest after a full day of sightseeing and traveling. Valerie received us and explained well the home set up and answered any questions. The Jacuzzi was a big plus and we had relaxing meals in the back patio and used the grill while accompanied by the curious lambs and chickens roaming free but separate from our space, adding to the wonderful feeling of connecting with your surroundings, we didn’t access the river but you have the option to kayak if thats your thing. highly recommend.

We spent 4 nights in Bertrand's home. The place matches the description in every way and the view is even more beautiful than you can imagine. In total calm, impeccably clean and with the cherry Nordic bath on the cake we can only recommend it. In addition, Bertrand was very accessible. We clearly keep the address to redo if the opportunity arises.

Very nice quiet house with two large bedrooms. There were a few basic products missing in the kitchen (oil, salt, sugar, etc.). Note that this accommodation is located in an agricultural environment (market gardener), with the possibility of tractors being present.

Very pleasant stay in a quiet and relaxing place. The cottage is as described, everything was ready upon arrival. Lori always responds quickly, she is discreet and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We hope to return...

What a delight to arrive in Marcillac-Saint-Quentin! The driveway reveals a well-kept park with a large shared swimming pool. An exceptional welcome from Mariette and Jacques! Mariette is discreet, attentive, very gentle and generous, and has a sense of hospitality. The exposed stone house has a private garden with table, deckchairs and BBQ. - On the ground floor, freshness is welcome: equipped kitchen, Louis Philippe living room, renovated furniture. Majestic open fireplace, ready to be lit. Another nice touch. - Upstairs 2 spacious bedrooms, also well cared for. Quality bedding and linens. It's a pleasure to open the windows in the morning, listen to the birds singing and watch the squirrel jumping from tree to tree. The house located 10 minutes from Sarlat, not far from Lascaux, is perfect for reconnecting with nature. It is a haven of peace with a beautiful energy. We'll be happy to go back! I would highly recommend it

Very pleasant week spent in the March Valley. Beautiful walks on the ridges of the Cantal Mountains. Home in a beautiful setting. Thanks to Dominique and Jean-François for hosting us.

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

We really liked the house and the area where it is. The house was very clean and neat. Ideal for going with dogs because it has a closed garden. We enjoyed cycling around the area. A highly recommended place to visit. Jean-Paul was very welcoming

An enchanted break at the cabin by the pond! We had a great time close to nature. A warm welcome from Sara, with excellent sourdough bread. Access is simple and quick to this cocoon of greenery. The cabin is soft and full of charm. We were able to enjoy it under the sun, but also snuggling in it during a stormy evening, it was great and so cozy, the cabin is very well insulated; but if needed, the stove was already ready to heat this cozy place (we didn't need it.). We felt at home there. There are many nooks and crannies to enjoy this peaceful retreat, observe nature and adopt a peaceful way of life. We strongly recommend this place and its charming hostess. Thanks for creating this place.

Beautiful stay at Monsegur. Very private, peaceful stay with friendly locals. Julien is wonderful- nothing is too much bother and we visited his parents family run restaurant which was opposite the house and our favourite place to eat during our stay. Kids loved the pool and garden. Highly recommend.

Peaceful and quiet place, as we like. The accommodation is simple and functional. The pool is a plus after a nice hike! Philippe is both present and discreet. It is a place to recommend.

The host is very responsive. Description of the house very faithful to the ad. Peaceful and easy to access. The views are beautiful. The house is super nice and pleasant. It feels like home. Very well-equipped house. The single beds on the mezzanine are suitable for children and teens (not adults). Patrick, his right-hand man, welcomed us warmly and was very available.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. We've just stayed at Anne's place for a week and had the most wonderful holiday. It had everything we could have wished for and more. Perfect for our 3 year old with so much to do for him and the pool was secured with a fence. There are so many games and spaces to explore. Location was superb and we are already looking forward to returning. Thank you Anne for giving us the best week!

Our holiday at Morganes House was SO perfekt. I lost my husband four months ago and I needed the peace together with my children and this house was more than perfect for this - so thank you.

Very beautiful house typical of the Périgord region and very pleasant. Close to all tourist attractions and central for all visits. We were able to enjoy the pool despite the weather not being very suitable.

Thank you to Francis for his welcome and hospitality. We had a very good week in a very beautiful region. The house offers satisfactory comfort, the area is peaceful in the middle of nature. The Périgord Noir is really worth discovering with its many castles, caves, gardens and local products.
