Holiday houses in Limmared

We stayed one night with our two girls during our travel between Stockholm and Denmark. We were very happy to find this charming house and surrounding.

A beautiful, spacious house in a fantastically quiet location, walking distance to the fine sandy beach. In about 5–10 minutes you can reach the magnificent beach behind the dunes, right next to a campsite with a great large playground – ideal for children. Mona's house is nicely decorated, so we felt at home from the first moment. We were particularly enthusiastic about the open, lovingly furnished kitchen and the spacious living area, which invites you to linger. The house also includes a large garden with terrace – perfect for cozy barbecues in the warm months. A real highlight is the direct view over the field to the sea. There were beautiful reddish sunsets. Mona was very friendly and helpful and sent us a lot of useful information about the area in advance, which made our vacation planning much easier:) The house has everything you need. We had a wonderful vacation with our family and grandparents. The children enjoyed playing outside on the trampoline, boating, fishing and even paddle boarding in the sun. For the adults enough seating in and around the house to enjoy the silence, the birds and the beautiful surroundings out of the wind and in the sun. Beautiful hiking opportunities nearby and the sauna was nice with convenient showers directly adjacent. However, it is useful to know that the second bathroom is not present in the main house. This was no problem for us. Stefan was remotely quick and very helpful and friendly in contact. Our holiday started cold, but inside it was very cozy with the soapstone wood stove for which there was enough wood available. On the lake you can fish with the boat with anchor, useful to know that fishing up to a maximum of 60 meters from the side is quite possible. We enjoyed it.

Very friendly and flexible host. The house was very cosy and it lays in the middle of the nature. Everything is as described. We felt welcome and at home in the cottage.

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We were 2 families; 4 adults and 5 children who stayed in Lena & Daniels place. The house was amazing and we felt right at Home. All amentities that we needed were there and it was definitely over our expectations. We will definitely come back again. 💫💫

We had a great vacation at Linnea's house. It had everything we needed. The location is great, right on the lake, very quiet, you are really secluded and have your peace. We were out and about a lot with the two small boats on the lake and enjoyed the sun in the garden. We will be happy to come back!

Anas is a great host, willing to go above and beyond. Accommodation is super too.

The house was very spacious and we felt like home immediately. There was enough space for our daughter to play around. Andreas even provided a small bike and in the backyard was a swing. The beds were very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. We can only recommend the accommodation for people who seek silence and privacy during their stay. And the sunset is stunning as well!
