Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lichfield District

Very well finished property in a lovely area of Nottingham. Very clear instructions of how to get there and came with a helpful guidebook of the area.

Our stay @ The Mill was just perfect Debs is the most wonderful host who looked after our every need with plenty of banter as well 😆 The Mill itself is beautifully restored with so many original features both inside & out . I spent the first night just walking around in wonder Then the outside … just wow 🤩 Our own lake , friendly llamas 🦙, pigs , chickens laying you fresh eggs for brekkie … the list just goes on & on I personally loved sleeping at night with the doors open listening to all the animals Needless to say we will be returning as soon as we’re back in the UK When people say this is a hidden gem 💎 believe me The Mill surpasses all The Mill is a treasure trove 💚

We stayed at Lee's place whilst in the area for work. We had a great stay. The house is decorated in a very modern style and is a great place to relax in the evenings. Whilst we didn't use the hot tub that is also a great addition. Having 2 parking spaces was also a massive bonus for us. Access to the front of the house is down a really quiet close as well which made our work vehicles feel even more secure. Thanks Lee!

Had a fantastic time. Samuel’s place was easy to find, situated on a lovely residential estate with parking. Lots of walks close by which was great for the dogs. Great communication and recommendations for places to eat and visit locally. We ordered takeaway from Spice Touch around the corner and it was amazing. His house was well presented with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Yes you can hear the traffic from the A444 but it didn’t disturb us and ear plugs are provided. Would definitely stay again.

Well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Very welcoming with great communication. Spotlessly clean kitchen and shower room. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and kitchen utensils - all spotlessly clean. I have a bag of household essentials for self-catering stays - kitchen roll, loo rolls, tin foil, washing up liquid, towels…didn’t need any of it! Was so welcoming to see it provided. Dog friendly - such a bonus! Lovely outside space. Perfectly suited to our needs. Thank you Ilsa for a fabulous stay.

It was a quick couple of days stay in a very cute accommodation and the scenery was outstanding. Karen greeted us on arrival and offered us milk for a nice cup of tea. Would highly recommend for a quick getaway in the countryside and close enough to town.

Beautiful caravan in a stunning location Ashbourne heights caravan park is lovely, very well maintained. Spotlessly clean throughout, comfortable and cosy, decking with chairs is a great addition especially with the weather we had. Walking from the door step, we did Thor’s cave circular and stepping stones, tissington trail is just off the site entrance so no need to drive anywhere. Honestly one of the best family weekends we have had will be booking again in the future ❤️

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

Put short, we didn't want to leave. It was fantastic from start to finish, Hayley was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We had some fantastic treatments while staying, and fully made use of the amenities. Such a wonderful location, can't wait to hopefully return.

We had a wonderful weekend here. Beautiful cottage in a gorgeous, tranquil setting with superb hosts, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They had thought of everything from a welcome bottle of wine and sweet treats to robes, sliders and even treats for the dog! Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, lovely pool and hot tub. We will definitely return. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation in quiet and peaceful surroundings this is the place for you.

We had a wonderful stay at The Shippen. The property was perfectly located for a peaceful few days away from busy life but had amenities close by. We had access to the great pool and a private hot tub that the kids loved. I would definitely recommend The Shippen for families looking for a getaway that has lovely surroundings and accommodation that has everything you need, including games and activities for entertainment. Thank you Sara and Phil for having us, we loved our stay.

Me and my partner went with the dog, we had one of the best times in this spot, really relaxing to be at the pod and then travelling around the villages was lots of fun. Was always nice to come back to the lovely pod! The kitchen had everything you needed as well

This place really is an idyll! I was there with family for four nights and we had so much fun with the croquet, tennis, swimming, and the barbecue. The house is even bigger than it comes across from the description! There are several sitting rooms and lots of bathrooms. It felt very luxurious to have pool towels as well as those provided in the bathrooms. The garden is also beautiful, and we were surrounded by birdsong and swooping swallows. We had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

Stunning property, furnished beautifully, with wonderful crockery always a bonus & you can tell everything has been thought through with care & attention to detail. Just simply beautiful & the dogs loved the resident dogs. You will not be disappointed plus the sofa & bed are super comfy. Everything you need for a wonderful trip away ❤️

A well equipped apartment above a hairdresser’s salon. A good location for the pubs and restaurants in the town. Very clean. We would stay here again. However, we found parking to be a problem. The one time we used the allocated space we regretted it. As mentioned by others the access is very narrow and difficult to get out from without risking scratches to the car. We were out during the days and by the time we got back there was no road side parking left either.

We had a wonderful cosy stay. The house was so clean clutter free and well equipped. We had some lovely walks over the fields near by, enjoyed coffee from the near coffee shop. Liz was very kind and approachable host. We re so grateful for such a welcoming stay. Thank you very much you have a beautiful home.

Really gorgeous few days at the lodge. Felt so quiet and peaceful but a stones throw from the Marina with some lovely places to eat and grab a drink. Some lovely walks to do along the canal too. Lots of lovely little touches in the lodge and Rob was very friendly and helpful with making sure we knew how to find the lodge and check in etc. Would 100% recommend and return!

We have just returned from Hillside Hut after a fabukous 2 night break away. The weather was perfect for us and made this little gem even more perfect for what we wanted. We wanted aomewhere private for our dog and peaceful but also within easy travelling of the local beauty spots and peak district and this place didnt dissapoint, as we had 2 action packed days and then at night we soaked in the pristine hot tub. Will defo recommend this place and Abigail is a very polite and responsive host should you require anything but also you are keft alone to enjoy your own privacy.

We had a great time and the cabin is in such a beautiful location. Watson was fantastic and very friendly showing us around and getting everything set up for us. Would love to come back!

Our one night stay at Pauline's place was ideally suited for an event at Darley Moor. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and the shower was particularly good. Pauline communicated well with us and even let us know we could arrive a little bit earlier if needed. We were on the edge of what looked like a lovely village so it was really nice and quiet.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Adena’s and, hopefully, it won’t be the last. The space is beautifully appointed and set in an enchanting, peaceful location and Adena is everything you could ask for in a host.
