The beautiful Hallingdalselva flows just outside the cabin wall with possibilities for amazing fishing for trout. When you walk out the door, there are diverse hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, as well as only a 15-30 minute drive away from mountain peaks, ski resorts, etc. Good space for parking and the possibility of paid charging of electric car.

Kitchen is equipped with cooking equipment and nice dishes, two hot plates and a new refrigerator. Outside there is a cozy space in the sun wall and you have access to a fireplace. Plenty of space for parking. A hammock that you can hang up between the trees outside the cabin - for a relaxing afternoon nap, or a night under the open sky. Possible to rent linens.

Mountain view is 1110 m above sea level and is a beautiful log cabin/staff cage at Haugastøl, with stunning panoramic views of Ustevann and Hardangervidda National Park. Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. It's the sun from early morning to late night The cabin has Rallarvegen and magically Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset to the east, and Hardanger to the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and trails in the area

Unique and comfortable stay with new views

Our newly built "sleeping box" is teikna and built by the inexpensive architects in OPAFORM, Espen Folgerø and Marina Bauer, and stands on the 2nd floor in a empty grain barn from 1850 with airy views of Strandavatnet. The box has a 1.80 double bed, but it can put in an extra mattress or cot if needed. In the barn that is located in the building next door, a kitchen, bathroom and toilet have been built. We offer a large double bed (king size). In addition, we can provide an extra bed and/or cot if required.

Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.

The cabin has beds made up, self check-in and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Cross-country trails, hiking trails, cycling opportunities and alpine facilities are all nearby. Dogs are welcome for a cleaning supplement (NOK 500).
