Unique & idyllic cabin on high mountain. The cottage is located about 1000 m above sea level with stunning views of the mountain world. Modernly furnished with all amenities such as shower, floor heating, fireplace and large panoramic windows. Great hiking terrain at your doorstep both winter and summer time. Bathing area can also be found close to the cabin. Car road all the way to the cabin during summer time. In winter time it is about 3 km from parking to the cabin. Experience nature and a simple life. There are no cars, no facilities, and no other people close by. Outhouse, wood burning, a simple kitchen with gas for cooking. Striking nature just outside the door, with forest, marshes, water and endless hiking opportunities. In the winter, the ski slopes stretch for miles. At the same time, the sturgeon is only 12 km from Sundre (Ål city center), about 20 minutes by car, and 7 km from Ål ski center, about 12 minutes by car. Newly built modern cabin with a fantastic view of Hallingskarvet. Cross country tracks and alpine trails practically just behind the cabin offering panoramic view of the mountain peaks a few kilometers away. If you fancy downhill skiing, within ten to sixty minutes drive you have access to Ål skicenter, Skarslia ski center, Geilo ski center, Hemsedal ski center, Skagahøgdi skicenter (Gol) and Hallingskarvet ski center. Cabin is rented out WITHOUT bedlinen and towels.

Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.
