Unique & idyllic cabin on high mountain. The cottage is located about 1000 m above sea level with stunning views of the mountain world. Modernly furnished with all amenities such as shower, floor heating, fireplace and large panoramic windows. Great hiking terrain at your doorstep both winter and summer time. Bathing area can also be found close to the cabin. Car road all the way to the cabin during summer time. In winter time it is about 3 km from parking to the cabin. Experience nature and a simple life. There are no cars, no facilities, and no other people close by. Outhouse, wood burning, a simple kitchen with gas for cooking. Striking nature just outside the door, with forest, marshes, water and endless hiking opportunities. In the winter, the ski slopes stretch for miles. At the same time, the sturgeon is only 12 km from Sundre (Ål city center), about 20 minutes by car, and 7 km from Ål ski center, about 12 minutes by car. Relax with your family or friends at this practical cabin. Here you can hike high to the mountains, bike, stroll a hike, explore the cultural opportunities in Ål or just relax. The cabin is compact and conveniently furnished with 7 beds + a daybed for two in the living room, bathroom with shower, separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and espresso pot for good coffee! High chair, cot (travel cot) and a stroller can be used while you are there. Nature plot and terrace. Cozy cabin built with traditional architecture from the «Hallingdal» area. Excellent sun conditions, outdoor and indoor fire place, sauna, great montain view and a hand-crafted log annex. A great place for winter and summer activities: Cross country slopes and sleding hill just outside the door, ski lifts 10 min away, cycling and hiking routes, nearby mountain farms, swim in rivers, canoo available, etc. Eating chair, changing table and sleeping bed for babies/small children available.

Newly built modern cabin with a fantastic view of Hallingskarvet. Cross country tracks and alpine trails practically just behind the cabin offering panoramic view of the mountain peaks a few kilometers away. If you fancy downhill skiing, within ten to sixty minutes drive you have access to Ål skicenter, Skarslia ski center, Geilo ski center, Hemsedal ski center, Skagahøgdi skicenter (Gol) and Hallingskarvet ski center. Cabin is rented out WITHOUT bedlinen and towels.
