Beautiful, quiet location, large garden. Room nice and spacious, large, open kitchen. Everything very clean and cozy.

We felt very comfortable, the apartment is very lovingly furnished, we didn't miss anything.

Great place with nice decor & very clean, communication with Matthies was great & he was super flexible. The sauna was also nice. A good starting point for hikes in the Teutoburg Forest.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated home. It’s bright, clean, and tastefully designed, with a peaceful and private setting surrounded by nature. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped—perfect for cooking meals during our stay. We immediately felt at home, and our dogs loved it too. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making everything easy and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful, quiet place.

Time has stopped in the small bakery. Many antique details remind me of my grandmother's house, which is why I immediately felt like a child & well kept. The details of this house contain so much love, feelings & memories that are hidden from us, but at the same time create new ones for every visitor. The small bakery under the beautiful old oaks is a magical place of power. Fairytale presents, with a pinch of humor that boosts creativity and at the same time gives the soul a break. There are seating options around the cuddly house to take full advantage of the course of the sun. Almost like the little prince's star who crazy his chair to watch a sunset at any time... We booked this place for my mother's 60th birthday and found a beautiful, private and quiet house with a large garden. It was super equipped, ideal for larger groups and also communication with the hostess was quick and smooth. We will be happy to come back! *****

We stayed on site for 3 nights in March 2025 and it was fantastic. Despite the "main" location (was less busy than some cul-de-sacs) it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the bakery right around the corner and the Dümmer See 10 min. by car. The furnishings are suitable for the house selected traditional and quaint. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

The microwave was broken but was quickly repaired within an hour. It would have been better if everything was checked before the handover. I think the price is a bit too high If you pay too much money, you have to connect everything, like enough taps for the dishwasher, hand soap, baking paper, plastic wrap and Zewa, etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The kitchen was super equipped. Changing table, high chair and travel cot were available for the young children. The bunk bed is in the children's room and is less suitable for large adults. However, there are also houses with normal beds instead of the bunk beds, which we did not know before.

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

Great place, we had a good stay at Thomas's place.

They are very nice and welcoming people. The place is cozy and perfect if you want to escape the city for a bit. It’s peaceful, surrounded by nature, and has everything you need to relax. If you have an electric car, there’s even a charger available so you can charge at home, which was super convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Worth the stay! All the instructions were there in each rooms in German and English. The rooms were comfortable, clean and surprisingly artistic. Personally my favourite is the sexy picture in bedroom and the kitchen utensils. We cooked and used the warming bottle for our night as well. I like how well prepared they are and how experienced they bacame<3 My companion could smoke in the balcony and we brought our pet which was a jackpot mega deal~

The family welcomed us very warmly – we felt welcome from the beginning. The small cottage is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. It was particularly nice that our child could watch the chickens running freely around the house. The surrounding area is ideal for bike rides, and the property is fenced towards the street, so our son could play carefree in the garden. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and can recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a family atmosphere.

Great location walking distance to the lake, cafes and restaurants. We got good hiking tips from Anselm. I'd love to come back. Highly recommended is Lukas Hofcafe in Hüde.

We really enjoyed it! The kids were happy with the animals in the area :) In general, the apartment is super equipped. Even spices, oils, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, and soap were not missing. In addition, towels and bed linen are sufficiently provided. We felt comfortable and would be happy to come back 😊

A really very nice apartment that is even more cozy than it looks in the pictures. I felt very comfortable. Small note for dog owners: The stairs are quite steep. My dog didn't dare go down and I had to carry her. Communication was friendly and straightforward. Georg is very accommodating.
