“A beautiful, comfortable and special cosy cottage, located in one of the most beautiful places in Cornwall. The views were amazing, the location just perfect for enjoying Marazion, St Michael’s mount and other jewels that Cornwall have to offer. Information regarding the cottage and our stay was perfect and the local knowledge and information provided by Peter and Sally ensured our stay was memorable. The bed was so comfortable, the cottage extremely clean, homely and a beautiful eclectic mix of quaint furnishings. Would definitely recommend a stay here and whilst there a visit to the Fire Engine pub and the Godolphin Arms, both very welcoming of dogs too. The cottage is perfectly equipped for eating in and the view is so soul satisfying... thank you Peter and Sally, one of the most special weekends of our lives”
The Studio, Rosebud is a newly renovated, light and airy one bedroom annex arranged on two floors. It is set in a quiet lane in Lelant within minutes from the beach, stunning estuary and train to St.Ives. It has an outside seating area and off road parking. It is the perfect spot to enjoy St.Ives and the wider Penwith peninsula. The accommodation ajoins our home where we live with our 3 children. We love it here in this sunny corner of Lelant, and will do all we can to make you feel welcome.
“My boyfriend and I stayed for a couple of nights to relax and get away from everything and the studio didn’t disappoint! Iona has thought of everything. The studio felt new, very clean, aesthetically pleasing, Netflix, the bed was luxurious and Iona was a wonderful host. We felt very at home here. On top of all of this the location was perfect for a romantic getaway. We made use of the train, which is a five mins walk away that takes you straight in to the heart St Ives. On Saturday evening we walked to a little local pizzeria and wine bar called Scarlet, highly recommend-the pizza was delicious. Thanks again Iona for all the little extras, we really did have a special time away. We will be back x”
Saltings Reach in Lelant is very close to Carbis Bay and St Ives beaches. You can take the costal train from Saltings Reach that follows the stunning cornish coast into St Ives. Or you can walk from Saltings Reach to Carbis Bay or St Ives on the coastal path. Within 2 minutes from our home is Birdies Bistro & Scarlet Wines. Both serve food and wine and are perfect for meals out. Saltings Reach is a hidden gem close to vibrant St Ives, but it also offers unexpected beauty and tranquility
“Katie was very welcoming and made us feel at ease. She has a beautiful house and the room was lovely and very clean. We helped ourselves to breakfast at the time we wanted. Parking at back of house in private spot. Nice garden we could sit and relax in. Did the coastal walk to St. Ives which took about two hours and caught train back. There is no longer a train station by house as mentioned in previous reviews but there is one about a ten minute walk away or you can drive and leave car there. Perfect location for exploring surrounding areas.”
