Tucked in an idyllic sheltered valley is Bracken Cottage. It was built around 1800 for miners and is now a Grade II listed building which has been carefully renovated to keep it's original character with open beams, wooden floor and open fire
“I was slightly worried about how rural the cottage would be, but do you know what? It was just perfect. We went out and about every day. My husband ran up Trencrom hill every morning. We sat in the garden and drank wine, so peaceful. Also so easy to park the car at St Erth station and get the train to St Ives (15mins). Helen the neighbour in the chapel is just gorgeous and was so kind, and helpful. The Engine pub is about a half hour walk, and we made great friends in there, basic but welcoming. Nice walk out on an evening. Would definitely return, and recommend x”

“A beautiful, comfortable and special cosy cottage, located in one of the most beautiful places in Cornwall. The views were amazing, the location just perfect for enjoying Marazion, St Michael’s mount and other jewels that Cornwall have to offer. Information regarding the cottage and our stay was perfect and the local knowledge and information provided by Peter and Sally ensured our stay was memorable. The bed was so comfortable, the cottage extremely clean, homely and a beautiful eclectic mix of quaint furnishings. Would definitely recommend a stay here and whilst there a visit to the Fire Engine pub and the Godolphin Arms, both very welcoming of dogs too. The cottage is perfectly equipped for eating in and the view is so soul satisfying... thank you Peter and Sally, one of the most special weekends of our lives”

“Had an absolutely amazing weekend staying in the cabin. Perfect host and perfect accommodation. Jen made us feel very welcome, and the cabin was perfect with everything you could ask for and a lovely private outdoor area. We enjoyed the cornish cream tea on arrival, Jen had gone out of her way to make sure my partners dietary needs were catered for also. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nice break away, we will be returning again soon without a doubt. Thanks again Jen! (And the horses) for a perfect long weekend.”
