The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the park of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood-burning stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has its own private garden all around, its own front door and lots of privacy.

Our cozy B&B is located on the Spanjaardslaan. One of the most beautiful streets in Leeuwarden. In three minutes you can walk through the Prinsentuin to the center of the historic city of Leeuwarden. The guesthouse is located behind the house from 1906 and has its own entrance, living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The guesthouse is completely self-sufficient. Due to the combination with the cozy living room and kitchen, the guesthouse is ideal for a family or group of four friends.

On the outskirts of Stiens, in the Steenslân district, we had a wooden outdoor residence built on our lot with its own jetty. The living room overlooks the water. In the summer ideal for paddle boarding, fishing, swimming or mooring with your boat. The water is connected to the Dokkumer Ee. In the other seasons, it remains lively on the water, there is always something to see. On weekends, we serve breakfast (for a fee), during the week only in consultation.

Close to the city centre of Leeuwarden is Woodpecker, a spacious and bright 100 m² bungalow. You have a private entrance and the Woodpecker has two spacious bedrooms, both with a private shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic comforts. The bungalow can accommodate up to 4 people. Woodpecker Leeuwarden can also be booked via its own site. We are entering the last season to start again somewhere else. The new residents have other plans

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. Unique mini studio in heart of downtown Leeuwarden.

This spot was perfect. My sister and I were here from Canada for the week to visit family and celebrate the 80th liberation. We had easy access to everything by stepping out the front door. The two separate bedrooms allowed us our privacy. The beds were super comfy. Loved the little terrace too. Marijke was very kind and helpful. If we’re ever back we would stay here again. Thanks, Marijke.

We enjoyed our stay at the windmill while we were visiting Friesland. The location worked great for trips into Leeuwarden along with surrounding areas. The e-bikes were one of our highlights of this stay - we did a ride through Leeuwarden out to Deinum and Boksum which was amazing. Would recommend staying here as a solo or couple traveller.

Very stylishly furnished room (musical theme), easily accessible from the entrance and facing the front garden. Great private en-suite bathroom. Wim was a great host, available to talk about the shared love of music. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
