“Loved this airbnb! It was worth every penny. Carla was very responsive, the cabin was equipped with all essentials, including firewood to have a nice fire in the fire pit. The location is at the top of a beautiful meadow overlooking the mountains. We were able to explore, hike around, and watch a beautiful sunset. There is one hill leading up to the cabin, roughly 200 yards in length, that was pretty steep and muddy from the melted snow, but we were able to get up it with no problem in a 4 wheel drive F150. Overall great experience and great location!”

“The property was exactly as listed. We completely enjoyed the quiet, solitude and beauty of the mountains each and every day. We were able to take daily hikes (averaged between 2.5 & 3.25 miles per day). Our dog (Great Pyrenese/Pit Mix) absolutely loved it too. We let her have free reign of the meadow and never had any issues with other animals or the ranch dogs. The daily temps for us were between low 30's and high 50's, but the stove in the cabin gives off plenty of heat for some of the cold evenings. Each night, we have plenty of light from the solar-powered battery, and never lost power. We did bring a small generator to charge our electronics (watches to track our hikes and tablets for reading). Even though our phones stayed in Extended 3G (Verizon), we had no data, texting was spotty at times, but had no issues calling. As everyone else has stated, you definitely need a 4x4 to navigate the road. We had to deal with snow, ice, and mud on the way up and down. I'm definitely planning to come back for future sabbaticals.”

“You can’t miss the charm of living on a ranch next to a beautiful mountain range! Each morning we woke up with fresh air and a beautiful landscape, complete with horses and cows in the field! The night sky was amazing, too, and I urge you to sit on the porch at night and watch for falling stars. The cabin was clean, had any amenity you would need, including wifi, tv, stove, microwave, and a bbq (which we used for most of our cooked meals). The beds were perfect, especially the twin beds for our kiddos who are 6 & 2. This was a wonderful trip for our kids. They got to see animals, go on walks by the pond, and this isn’t far from Stori lake. We even went during a heat wave, and there is only a/c in the master bedroom, but the fans in every room did the trick and it stayed cool in the main living areas and at night. Derek and Alicia were extremely kind, gave us tips on where to eat and what to do, and had a genuine spirit of hospitality. Our 6 year old cried because she never wanted to leave. We can’t wait to visit again!”
