The Monastery

The Monastery's gîte has been restored in the authenticity of the stone. You will enjoy all the comforts for a successful vacation. Air-conditioned rooms equipped with mosquito nets are located upstairs. The kitchen overlooks the garden where you can have lunch in the shade of the parasol. On the other side of the property, you can enjoy the swimming pool which is shared with the guests of the Fig Tree from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. From September to June, monthly rental. It is a very peaceful location surrounded by nature and within a 5 min walk of the village centre. The perfect place to discover the Cevennes and the south of France. This farmhouse from 1610, 1 minute away from Sommières by car. You will be in a peaceful setting with no street noise and a 9x4m pool to cool yourself on hot summer days. The garden goes down to the river where one can go fishing. From certain spots you can see the Chapelle Saint Julien from the XIth century as well as the château de Sommières. There is a brasero and a pizza oven outside to enjoy time together outside.
