A spacious west-facing room offering views of the local countryside and woodland. Rural enough for peace and quiet, but only half a mile from local conveniences and close to main road networks (A5, M6, M42). The room is on the first floor of our 7-bed semi-detached farm-worker's cottage, currently occupied by 2 family members (plus 2 in the rear annexe) and 2-3 other guests. The room features a solid wood double bed, writing bureau, chest of drawers, wardrobe, TV and PlayStation.
“I had a great stay at Neal's place. The house was a lovely country house in a peaceful countryside setting. The bedroom was large and the playstation was a great touch (if only I had the time!). The room was exceptional value. Neal was a great host. Helpful and communicative, but happy to leave you to yourself. The house is only about a 20 minute or so drive from the NEC / Airport and a really good alternative if you want a change from staying in Birmingham. Highly recommended and a great place to stay if you're in the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.”
'The Hovel' is a newly converted countryside retreat. Enjoy the beautiful Warwickshire scenery with walks surrounding the farm. This stunning little barn has all amenities. Set on a working farm nestled in a newly planted vineyard, you can walk the vines on a evening stroll and see the magnificent sunsets. Outside you can enjoy Al fresco dining, barbequing and even a dip in the hot tub!
“Had such a lovely stay at The Hovel. It is such a beautiful barn and located on such a lovely farm/ Vineyard. The Barn feels very private which is nice. The Hovel is very luxurious and we didn’t want to leave. The Barn has a bath tub, a fire pit, a coffee machine, a hot tub and BBQ and you are given gorgeous robes to wear during your stay! All of these touches made our stay even more special! Jane was an amazing host, she was in touch with me by message and made sure we had everything we needed, she also gave us some tips for places to eat and drink. Jane also popped over and left a bottle of champagne on our doorstep for my boyfriends Birthday which we thought was really thoughtful! Thank You Jane! Would definitely recommend staying at The Hovel!”
I live in a three bedroomed house with my daughter. It has space for three cars to park at the front and a south facing back garden. It is based in a very popular and convenient area of Sutton Coldfield.
“A wonderful stay in a cosy, warm and clean home with very friendly hosts. I was able to settle in quickly and easily as Natalie was flexible with the move in time. Everything I needed was provided as described in the advert. It was lovely to chat to the hosts of an evening but equally they respected my privacy if I wanted time alone. This was a great Airbnb”
