We were a family of 6 staying for a long weekend over Easter. Lauren's communication was excellent and we really appreciated the detailed list of supermarkets, shops and things to do - having not been to this area before we were reassured that it would be a good choice. The accommodation, especially the downstairs areas in the kitchen, lounges and table outside were spacious and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in Normandy coming from the UK as is only a 2-3 hour drive from Calais and an excellent base for places like Bayeux, Honfleur and Deauville. we had a great time in the longhouse of Violet! When we arrived the house was in pristine condition, welcoming, extremely clean and well decorated. We enjoyed the environment, with the terrace, garden and barbecue available. We found the rooms to be very charming, spacious, with each shower or bathtub available which is quite exceptional! And the beds were comfortable! All the amenities available make you feel perfect to enjoy and have a great time! Thank you Violet for your hospitality , we will be back as a family.

Light, bright open flat with fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and comfy sofa living room. Bedrooms were large (we had the single studio next door - separate key required) as well. Instructions were clear, housekeeper was prompt in responding to check in time and inquiries. It is on the 3rd floor above ground level so be prepared for lots of steps (the last flight is quite narrow) Location right next to grand hotel with beach entrance across the street and walkable to all the restaurants and shops. Great stay!

We had a lovely stay at Alice's house. You are surrounded by horses, cows and sheep. Lots of hiking and biking opportunities in the nature preserve. we enjoyed the house, the outdoor patio and the heated pool. The house is well located to visit the coast and surrounding areas by car. The kitchen is well equipped.

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!

Eric and Alexandra were fantastic hosts, very kind and very helpful. The house is exactly as in the photos, if not better, clean, cosy and equipped to spend a wonderful weekend with family or friends. We will definitely be back!

The villa perfectly matches the description on the website. The same applies to the equipment present. Everything was impeccable and we had a very good stay Michael was also available and gave good advice beforehand when we needed it
