Holiday rentals with beach access in Le Grand-Village-Plage

Sophie's place is great for a few peaceful days. It is located just before the island of Oléron which is convenient enough to walk around. The place is very charming!

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

Great Host, large and bright apartment with a very nice decor and lots of facilities. View from the window of the pretty building of the Marché des Marennes with its Baltard-style architecture and the three restaurants less than a minute away. 10 min by bike to the beach (thanks for the bike:)). The large car park at Place Carnot is 100 m away. Special mention for the layout of the apartment (there must be about twenty light points and sockets and the kitchen is used with much more than the essentials). Thank you for everything, we'll be back with pleasure.

We felt very comfortable and welcome, the apartment with the terrace and the beautiful garden are a gem. The sea is close and the surroundings are very quiet. Only the Internet kept dropping out, which was sometimes annoying.

Isabelle was extremely welcoming, available and accommodating on our arrival. The accommodation is ideally located in a peaceful setting and at the same time close to amenities. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. There was even enough to make a hearty breakfast, a charming attention. Isabelle took the time to explain the walks, the restaurants, the must-sees of this pretty island. We strongly recommend this kind host. We'll be happy to go back

Very spacious and well-appointed house, large and fenced outside (perfect with dogs) and a big plus with the heated pool. Great location to discover the island and access to the beach on foot appreciable. Nelly's great flexibility on check-in and check-out times with responsive response. A few amenities would be worth repairing or changing for everything to be perfect. We'll be happy to go back!

We liked the stay in Anne Carole's "Haus Am Strand" very much. It was relaxing and quiet for us. The direct access to the beach is so wonderful! The beach in the evening sun is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The location is also highly recommended for cycling tours. We particularly liked the port of La Cotinière and the lighthouse. We had a wonderful stay here. The house is very well equipped and comfortable, being furnished with a great sense of style and personality. Beautiful accommodation ideally located in La Cotinière where you can walk to the main attractions. Very well equipped and very well decorated with its beautiful terrace and courtyard to park the car. Laurent's restaurant tips were well appreciated and the place is great for discovering Oléron. A big congratulations to Sébastien and Laurent, we can only recommend this beautiful accommodation!

Heavenly place a few steps from the ocean! A haven of peace in a small house that is very nice, functional, well-equipped and stays cool in hot weather: a real treat! The bed is very comfortable and the environment quiet, conducive to rejuvenating nights. You can hear the waves from the garden! We will be happy to come back... Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

We had a most pleasant stay in Marielle and Jean Claude's very well located apartment. We were able to enjoy their superb terrace. The residence is very well maintained and very quiet. Their advice for visiting the region was very helpful. A big thank you to both of you for the little treats too. We highly recommend it.

Excellent stay in Arnaud's apartment. Very well received by Fadia. The location is perfect for going to La Rochelle in 10 minutes on foot by the sea.

Beautiful studio, very clean and well-equipped, with a good real bed and a small terrace. Well located, very close to the beaches of Vaux-sur-Mer and Saint-Palais, easily accessible on foot as well as the shops. We also enjoyed the calm, the view of the trees framing a small stretch of sea and the reserved parking. In addition, the host welcomes us in person, for once it's not a lockbox, it's appreciated.

Absolutely beautiful apartment with all the amenities you need. Extremely clean and we'll decorated. Very close to great restaurants. Highly recommend.

We were delighted with our stay. The apartment matches the photos point by point. The kitchen is small but very functional with all the utensils, nothing is missing.
