“Hands down the best stay I've ever had with Airbnb. You will no be disappointed! The view is beyond great, you can see the mountains , the mini horses and tons of birds and other animals. The home has so many places to relax, inside and out. The living room has super comfortable couches and chairs with games and fun things to mess around with. The place was super clean and comfortable, they did a great job decorating and making it feel homey. Sherri & Terri are great people, they were very helpful in all ways and great company! They are such great hosts, they even accommodated us a night because they had to have some yard work done but for good reason, they were building on to the outside side yard by the suite for the airbnb guests to have even more to do! We will definitely return to see the new spot! Thank you guys so much for everything!!!”
Rustic (...TV, but NO INTERNET!) cabin in the woods on the North Ridge of Lake Wister. 20 minutes from Poteau. 30 minutes from the Winding Stair / Talimena Scenic Byway in the Ouachita National Forest. Hiking, swimming, or just relaxing on the deck!
“I am so happy that I picked this place for our 4th of July weekend getaway, I ended up going with my husband my 3yo daughter also my brother, his wife and their 4 year old. We stayed in one bedroom my brother and his wife in the other and the kids were more than happy to stay in the sofa bed in the living room watching cartoons! The place was really easy to get to with the GPS, even if you have no signal the GPS will still take you there, the cabin was clean, this is their personal place to come on vacation so you feel like home they do have things that belong to them so really treat the place like its yours, with CARE. They thought of every single detail and decoration which is so nice! Kate has little notes around to guide you, even though we took our own toiletries it was nice to see all the extra little things she has like Shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom she even has mosquito repellent and sunblock for you to use if you forget your own, a kit full of utensils to cook, pots, pans, microwave, salt and pepper, bring your own spices if you'd like, (we did) we also took our own blender because we love shakes, (they don't have one so bring your own) there is LOTS of extra towels, they don't smell freshly washed BUT you can tell they're clean, Patio chairs, a grill, extra blankets if you get cold ( again, they had been sitting there for a while so if you want freshly washed blankets that still smell like detergent bring your own) WE CHOSE to use them its a rustic cabin so we did not mind, we wanted the FULL experience and its not the end of the world, also keep in mind its not a hotel so the towels and blankets aren't washed every single day. (But they're clean). Beds aren't the most comfortable the mattresses are firm and you can tell outdated, but AGAIN rustic cabin take it all in and just enjoy the experience. They have a cabinet full table games for the family, we did use one since it rained a little bit, like I said, they thought of everything!!! The view is amazing, just beyond words! I would really recommend staying here we all loved it. Including the kids they had so much fun and since they're still small the Cable TV was a live savior when it rained because they had something to watch. Hands down we will definitely be back! Thank you so so much Kate!”

“Ronnie and Sandra have created such a cozy space for their guests at Little Dixie Cabin. The spacious land and pond was beautiful and well cared for, and the cabin is completely hidden from any roads or neighbors by trees. Very private and relaxing! They added little personal touches just for our trip, gave us some great info about the area, and were very easy to talk to. I definitely recommend them and their space!”
