The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

It has direct access to pretty countryside via walks along the disused railway path that is now a Nature Reserve and runs behind the cottage. You are situated on the edge of Hadleigh, so just a 10-minute walk to the heart of this charming historic Market Town set beside the river Brett. With lots of original charm in addition to modern conveniences, we’re sure you won’t be disappointed.

Peacock Barn is nestled in the grounds of the historic Grade II listed Spider Hall in the heart of Constable Country and Brett Vale, an AONB. Located at the end of a 1/4 mile long private drive way the property is completely self-contained with large bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room with French window access on to a private lawn with access to 7 acres of grounds. The only sound is often the church bells of Shelley half a mile away. 4 footpaths in to the AONB are a step away.
