A cosy and quirky bolt hole for two. Sitting/kitchen/dining room, bathroom and steep stairs to spacious bedroom. Low ceilings give character to this Tudor retreat. The whole space is full of light and sunshine. Great village with shop and two pubs
“This was our second stay at Jo's cottage, after a really lovely few days there last summer we fell in love with the place! Jo's cottage has a beautiful garden and is set in the quiet and tranquil village of Laxfield which has its own community run pub The Low house- which may I add serves good food, nice local beer & has friendly staff. Day trips to Aldeburgh & Southwold are only half an hour's drive away and Orford is worth a visit for a trip to Pump street bakery if nothing else! I love staying here, Jo has got everything right & knows how to treat guests, her thoughtful touches all around the cottage are much appreciated and made us feel very welcome there! Highly recommend!”
Family and dog friendly, self-catering accommodation in listed farmhouse. Set in the beautiful Alde Valley, within easy reach of the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
“We had a fabulously relaxing weekend at White House Farm. The peace and charm of the place is evident as you arrive, and everything is spotlessly clean and prepared with real care. We all slept so well in the very comfortable beds, in the quiet of Sweffling, and it was a delight to wake to the views of the countryside in the morning. Returning from a day at the coast in nearby Aldeburgh, we lit the fire (which was already prepared for us) and spent a cosy evening in the tastefully decorated lounge. Anna and Craig are attentive hosts, recommending some great local places to eat, and I’d highly recommend White House Farm as a wonderful place to stay.”

“Great stay and amazing value! Perfect remote getaway with a beautiful garden and hot tub — a chance to unwind and switch off. This is a lovely, cosy little joint; well equipped with the basics and surrounded by beautiful fields. Internet signal may be not be the easiest to come by but you’ll forget about that whilst enjoying the scenery and a trip to the neighbouring town of Framlingham- be sure to visit the castle, local chippy and have a drink at the Dennington Queen pub! Thanks again to Ian and Alison who couldn’t have done enough to make our stay a dream.”
