Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lauterbrunnen

We loved the place ! We used it as our base to explore Switzerland with a eurail train pass, did day trips to Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Lauterbrunnen, Thun, Interlaken and Bern. Walkable distance from the train station, also a beautiful walk in a pretty village circled by mountains. The place was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Very friendly host, was responsive and gave clear instructions. We even had a binder explaining how to use the ameneties and with local recommandations. Would go back if I was to travel to Switzerland again !

Absolutely fantastic stay. A little away from the busier, tourist areas so was nice to enjoy the peaceful neighbourhood. Saying that it is only a 15 minute walk to the main train station. Had everything we needed for a lovely week in Interlaken. Gabrielle was fantastic at communicating beforehand so we knew what to expect and how to get in as we had a late evening arrival. Would love to stay there again should we return to Interlaken. The place was nicely decorated and spacious. Facilities were perfect for a couple.

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

We absolutely loved this place! The apartment was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The area was beautiful and quiet, just a few minutes walk to the lake. It was easy to drive to interlaken and surrounding areas with lots to do. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic views of lake and mountains from every room, patio and balcony. Great location/easy access to all attractions in the Berner Oberland area with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend!

It was a really beautiful house. Very close to Interlaken Ost train station, Coop super market and restaurants. It's in the quiet and charming part of the town. The outside sitting area in the backyard was my favourite. The hosts are very thoughtful. The place had everything one can need during the stay. It was a perfect stay. Will surely want to return.

Fabulous apartment and location for exploring the area, which is stunning. There were lots of lovely touches like Nespresso pods, wine & chocolate. The terrace in the afternoon sun is delightful!

We stayed in the apartment for a week and enjoyed the stay. The location is great and you have so many options for activities, but also for shopping, etc. Communication was great, fast and helpful. We were able to check in very easily with clear instructions incl. Photos. Silvia and her family are also very hospitable and spontaneously invited us to coffee/lunch. Even when we came to the apartment, a little something was prepared. If we are in the area, we will definitely rent an Airbnb again via Silvia :)

Off the main street, this home is quite quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of busy Lauterbrunnen. The home was all that was promoted, and a short walk from the train station. Yes, you can see a beautiful waterfall from the front porch. This will lead to a few tourists in front of the house admiring the same waterfall. Juliane checked with us several times to make sure everything was going well. When we could not figure out the TV or dishwasher, she quickly provided an answer. This is an excellent home base for travel in the region. A quick walk to the train will get you to many places very quickly. The valley is also quite easy to walk, so everything you need for a relaxing holiday is here. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

This stay in Lauterbrunnen was much more than just a trip, it was a break of peace, beauty and human warmth. Ursula and Paul's chalet is simply perfect: spacious, extremely comfortable, impeccably equipped, and above all, with a breathtaking view of the waterfall as if straight out of a postcard. But what makes this experience truly unique are Ursula and Paul. Incredible hosts, with a rare kindness, deeply human, generous, caring... They give off an aura of sweetness and kindness that makes this place even more special. We are infinitely grateful and touched by their welcome. It's 100% certain: we'll be back. This chalet and its hosts will remain forever engraved in our hearts. 🙏🏻🥰🤍

Six incredible days in the heart of the Diemitgen Nature Park, a perfect accommodation. Nicolai was always attentive and his mother Rosa was welcoming and kind. From the first moment, she gave us directions to the activities and places to see, although the landscape that could be seen from the large window while having breakfast was the best show. It was amazing and we hope to be back soon.

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our holiday on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, everything you need is there - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully situated towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof at the back generally protects against the noise of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with bakery, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will gladly come back ourselves.

This is an accommodation where it is unfortunate to only give 5 stars. When I opened the door of the house, I was excited to open the door every day because of the view of the Eiger north wall and the chalet that was gathered in the boil. It's about a 15-minute walk to a nearby station, but it's so beautiful that I didn't know how much time I had.☺️🩷 Not only that, the host, Anita, was very kind, very responsive, and thankful for the thoughtfulness of checking if there were any medium difficulties. Not only on the day of check-in, but even though I had to check out at 6 am, it was so nice and comfortable that I didn't have to drag a heavy carrier to the train station by car.!!! The condition of the house was also very modern and cozy, and it had everything we needed, so we were able to stay without any inconvenience!! In particular, I felt Anita's attention to detail again in the service of providing room slippers and lending umbrellas.👍🏻 If I visit Grindelwald again, I will definitely visit again!!

It was a lovely stay at Chalet Viola. The apartment is a few minutes away from Wengen station with a scenic walk along the way. The view from every window is stunning. The sound of chirping birds in the morning is very relaxing. The place is clean and equipped with everything you may need to cook. The pictures don’t justify the cuteness of the unit. The host was very helpful as well throughout the stay. Definitely a great value for money! Note that the apartment has a low ceiling which may be an issue for taller guests most especially when taking a shower. Other than that, happy to stay here again. :)

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Grindelwald! The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by mountains, with goats and horses nearby adding to the charm of the alpine setting. It's peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Connectivity was surprisingly convenient. Bus 122 stops just a 2-minute walk from the house (Mettenberg stop), making it easy to reach most places. The bus service runs until around 6 PM, but even without it, the walk from the Grindelwald train station is manageable — about 25 minutes through beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the natural beauty of Grindelwald with the comforts of a well-connected location!

The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive or train ride to nearby towns and attractions

Heidi’s home and the views are truly breathtaking! Book this place, it’s worth every cent. Heidi was an amazing host, very thorough and has pictures explaining everything. The home was spotless. Entry is very secure as it has 2 entry points - look at her instructions carefully for self check in and you’ll be all set. The parking was spacious for our SUV rental. We couldn’t be more happy to have stayed here for our honeymoon. We will certainly be back!

Helen‘s place in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in! It was clean, nicely decorated and we had a lot of space. The washer and dryer were so useful. It had a lovely patio and was a quiet area, just a lovely place. I highly recommend it. We stayed there for four days and it was a great base for all our other adventures. The bus stop was basically right in front of the chalet, so convenient
