Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lauterbrunnen

This time we are a few Chinese people from different countries who came here. The landlord wants to say that the location is perfect, the surrounding scenery and human culture, including the landlord himself, are all very perfect. My favorite country is Switzerland. It's perfect.

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

It’s amazing place to stay.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning views, this cabin is perfect! It’s cozy, secluded, and ideal for those who want to disconnect and enjoy nature. Janis provided detailed instructions, which were crucial since we arrived at night in thick fog. (Make sure to use Google Maps, as Waze led us down paths not meant for cars causing us to turn around in sketchy conditions.) The welcome basket was an incredibly thoughtful touch that made us feel welcomed and at home. The cabin’s simplicity was just what we needed—no distractions, just the beauty of nature all around. It’s well-equipped, but if you’re visiting in cooler weather, knowing how to make a fire is important to stay warm. The surrounding area is great for hiking or relaxing with a book, and the breathtaking views made the stay unforgettable. We left feeling refreshed and more connected to nature. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil experience!

I want to first Thank you Anouk for being a great host. I don’t have the words to describe the place it is more like a piece of Heaven with the stunning view on the lake. We felt right at home from the start. The chalet was spotless clean with everything you need or think might need. We really enjoyed every single detail of it. Fantastic apartment in Brienz, we loved it! Exactly as described, the top floor of a chalet, perfect for the two of us (plus dog!). Beautiful location looking down into Brienz, with plenty of walking paths from the door for the dog. Chalet was really clean, had a comfortable bed, beautiful balcony overlooking the lake, was well stocked, cosy and overall we had a fantastic stay. No negatives from us! Jacqueline also is a lovely person to deal with, she was always responsive especially when our previous accommodation was not as described and we had to change our booking to check in early. We will definitely be back!

The suite looked exactly like the photos and Alpine services were amazing. They provided free shuttles to and from the train station during the entire stay and were so responsive to all our needs. The location is absolutely gorgeous and the suite was so beautiful, immaculate and it felt right at home. If I were to go back, I would stay here all over again! Highly recommended

Reto is super friendly and apparently speaks many languages perfectly! The kitchen is not only very pretty, combining antique and charming furniture with recent appliances of very good quality (induction stove, vacuum hood of the future, all the necessary utensils available, beautiful fridge... all impeccably clean). Difficult then to return to our modest urban apartment 😅 We didn't miss anything, it's also possible to eat outside. Garbage containers are very close, no problem without a car. Same for the bathroom, comfortable and generously provided with towels of different sizes and much appreciated basics. The whole place is extremely cozy and comfortable, very welcoming and warm. We hope to return soon! And the area is absolutely fantastic, we had the chance to do magical hikes and hopefully we can come back to Reto in the winter!

Loved this beautiful stay. No complaints. The AC worked fine, as Texans we are used to extremely cold AC so in a perfect world, it could have been cooler for our liking but we know that’s not normal abroad. House was super clean and you’ll be hard pressed to find a better location.

Amazing place in a great location with many activities to do in the region. Charlène made sure we had everything we needed (with some complimentary goodies!). From information on what to do, how to get there (bikes were included), to a fully equipped kitchen and an amazing bathroom. Fully recommend to anyone looking for a quite getaway with fun activities and great sights.

Such a beautiful place in an equally beautiful location. For those who wish to experience the Swiss country side and yet be fairly close enough to cover all the main attractions of the region, look no further. Stayed 5 nights with my family with 2 kids, and everyday was memorable. The house layout is made for the view, and it’s simply unforgettable.. all the basics are in place and more, no complaints there whatsoever.. in fact one would be pleasantly surprised coming here, for the photos just cannot do justice to what one feels here.. keywords: spacious, comfortable, magical, and beautiful. the hosts and manager were wonderful too.. always ready to help with whatever u need may it be home related or otherwise.. thank you for the amazing experience.. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to come back to a serene Swiss paradise at the end of a long day of travel, tourists, and attractions..

We spent the Easter days as a family, 7 adults, at the Retreat Lodge Schürmatt. From the beginning, we were thrilled with the decor, the location, the amenities. Everything, really everything, was there. Every day we cooked together and all accessories were available and in very good condition. The view of the Swiss Alps, at different times of the day and weather, is beautiful. The circling, calling Milane in the air a fascinating spectacle for Aug and Ear. The garden invites you to linger and enjoy. Whether sun or shade spot, there is a nice place for everyone with the right garden furniture. Also in the house, everyone (s) will find a favorite place to feel good, rest, read, play, enjoy. We all enjoyed it very much. We will be happy to come back. Thanks, Vinzenz!

Beautiful, idyllic location with fantastic views and absolute tranquility. We liked the cozy ambiance very much. Sara was always available and helped with all questions very quickly and easily. Highly recommended!

This place was perfect for our family. There are two separate entrances so one room is private from the other two. The views are AMAZING. It does require some coordination if you want to go into town as the train only runs about every hour, but we found the surroundings well worth the effort. The hot tub was so nice in the evenings, just plan to start the fire early as it takes a bit to heat up. Also HIGHLY recommend getting farm fresh eggs/milk/butter. It was super reasonable and so convenient to have it dropped at the house. Host were also very communicative which I appreciated. Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you want peace and gorgeous surroundings.
