Our stunning 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The sunny terrace offers unique views of both the famous Staubbach Waterfall and the valley itself. In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

Closest Studio Nest to the Staubbach waterfall

The nest located within Chalet Staubbach is adjacent to the famous Staubbach waterfall. The stream from the waterfall runs through the properties garden. The nest is a perfect base for skiing/sledging/hiking in the winter and for hiking, mountain biking and generally exploring the area in the summer. The nest is a leisurely 40 minute walk from the amazing Trummelbach falls. Also being 50m from Camping Jungfrau means there is a shop, bar and restaurant next door offering takeaway or eat in.

Our apartment is named Truemmelbach. It is located in the Lauterbrunnen valley, just next to the highest waterfalls of the Alps. Lauterbrunnen is part of the jungfrau region. It is surrounded by the famous mountains called Jungfrau, Eiger and Schilthorn. You will stay in the ground floor of a 3 floor Swiss Chalet. From the huge private terrace, facing the south, you can enjoy the most spectacular view to the Swiss mountains and you will hear nothing but cowbells, sheeps & singing birds.

Our ground-floor studio apartment at Chalet Pironnet is super cozy, clean and comfy and has THE most iconic view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Located in the village but off the main road. You will find the Lauterbrunnen train and cable car station, supermarket, bus stop, restaurants, café, laundromat and shops all within a 1-8 min walk along the village's charming main street. A five-minute walk from Lauterbrunnen train station, with connections to Interlaken, Wengen, Mürren and Grindelwald.

The apartment is 10 walking minutes from the train station in Lauterbrunnen and has a great view to the mountains and the Staubbach Falls. Downfloor 1 bedroom apartment ( 40 m2): living room with sofabed, kitchen, very small and old bathroom, terasse with view to the falls, all for private use! Notice that the apartment is opposite the lively Hornerpub, the only and best bar in the valley and loud church bells at the other side.
