“Clemmie place was lovely. It’s just 2 minutes from Pickering town centre which is full of lovely shops and cafes. Plus the steam train and castle are just two minutes away. The cottage it’s self is lovely. We had no problem finding a free place to park on the road. The cottage was lovely and clean. With a nice sitting area dinning area and kitchen. The beds are all really comfortable. This was a lovely place to stay definitely would recommend Debbie and family”

“Swallow Cottage is a very special place, everything about it has the wow factor & that’s all any of us could say when we first arrived. Wow, wow, wow!!!! Every conceivable thing you could think you might need & a hundred more things that you hadn’t thought about are all provided for you. Helen’s hosting is excellent, welcoming & available but without any intrusiveness, this was ideal for us. Helen was super friendly & our little girl loved helping Helen with feeding the ducks & donkeys. Everything is absolutely sparkling clean, comfortable & very cosy especially with the added bonus of underfloor heating. I was expecting the cottage to be gorgeous because I had seen the pictures but nothing could prepare me for just how magical it is. A really very special place, thank you so much for having us to stay, we most definitely will be back.”
Hall Cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Levisham on the edge of the North York Moors. It is an ideal location for walking, visiting the coast or the many visitor attractions nearby. Levisham is a typical North York Moors village with a single street bounded by common land verges and stone cottages. The Horseshoe Inn sits at the top of the village, 200 yards across The Green from Hall Cottage.
“Louise's cottage is outstanding: spotlessly clean and tidy throughout. Given these difficult times (we were the first to stay in the cottage now restrictions have eased), Louise went to great lengths to ensure that the property was as Covid safe as was reasonably possible. For example, she has put in place an effective way of providing breakfast as well as the replacement of crockery, cutlery and glasses when needed, too. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, and is clearly maintained to a high standard - the bathroom with the slipper bath especially so. Louise was also on hand to provide advice about the local area, and went to the trouble of both providing us with a map and marking it up for us. However, she was certainly not an obtrusive host - just there when needed! I am certainly going to book again in the near future. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, Louise!”
