Entirely made of wood, this "tchanquée" hut (on stilts) overlooks the coastal path and offers panoramic views of the bay. Its elevated layout earned it the name "la Hune" which designates an observation platform installed at the top of the mast of ships. The house has 3 terraces, a 500 m2 garden and a saltwater pool. My accommodation, rated 2 stars by Gironde Tourism, is halfway between Acachon-Pilat and Cap Ferret. The bike path that surrounds the basin is 100 meters away. Shops are nearby and local markets are not lacking. The outbuilding has its garden, trees all in a quiet and peaceful area. It's a fisherman's hut, all wooden, reflecting the authenticity and spirit of the bay. The comfort is modern and perfect for spending pleasant moments.
