You have excellent opportunities for hiking, enjoying and lingering, strolling in Bacharach on the banks of the Poesie or hiking extensively around Medenscheid.

The Rheinsteig, one of the most popular hiking trails in Europe, leads with its most picturesque stage directly past the house.
