(North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest cottages line the path. No crowds of tourists. (They're in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

A jetty with swimming ladder in front of the door for your boat, SUP, fishing rod or jump in the water. Warm modern decor. Three nice bedrooms with wonderful beds and two luxurious bathrooms. Parking and charging station in front of the door. In the area, you can enjoy cycling and sailing towards Overijssel and Friesland. Restaurants and a well-stocked Spar within cycling distance.

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

If you need to do some work, we have a desk (height adjustable) with two monitors available in the largest bedroom. The energy label for our house is A+++.
