Else and Jaco were very kind and excellent hosts. If you would like to get away for peace, I would recommend this place. The bed was comfortable, the space was neat and the nuts were delicious. I wish we were able to stay longer ;)

The most wonderful stay - could have stayed there much longer. One of the best places we have stayed, so special, incredible views, quaint cottage and best part is the indoor fire place and lovely outdoor verandah. Will be back.

Natasha is extremely friendly, lovely and accommodating. she is so welcoming and a gem of a person! The accommodation was modern, comfortable and clean. The space is tranquil and you have everything you need to a peaceful get away! It was lovely to walk freely on the property to see the horses and pets around. Wood for a fire and games are provided. Kayaking on the lake and watching the sunset with a glass of wine was pure bliss! We're definitely coming back to this amazing place to call second home 💫

We had a superb stay at Pecan Tree Cottage. Phil had amazing recommendations for our stay which included where to stop along our route from Cape Town, as well as local wine farms, and restaurants. The cottage is so well equipped and comfortable, and the welcome treats were over and above what one would expect. I highly recommend this property for a trip to the Montagu area. We'll be back!
