Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Waccamaw

This is the perfect lake getaway. Cute house that's close to the water. Everything you need is is provided. When outside or at the water, we were quickly greeted by neighbors who were welcoming and helpful. This place exceeded all of our expectations. And Courtney was quick to offer assistance when needed but did not make us feel like we were being watched. We will definitely look today here again. 10 out of 10!

We had such a wonderful stay at Tom and Desire’s place! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect — close enough to the beach and local attractions, but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet too. Tom and Desire were fantastic hosts — super friendly, responsive, and made sure we felt right at home. You can tell they really care about their guests having a great experience. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Myrtle Beach. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The house was in a perfect location, easy access to beach. Loved the open floor plan and kitchen was beautiful and had everything we needed. Sherri was a great host and very accommodating. Just to be aware it has a significant amount of front steps to get in the unit so might not be great for elderly or anyone who has trouble going up and down stairs but we had no complaints

This place is so peaceful & perfect for our Yorkies. We truly appreciate the fenced back yard. I enjoyed sitting out back in the mornings in one of the rocking chairs. It was so quiet & peaceful. It is very clean & roomy. It is nicely decorated & you can tell the hosts really take care of things & put a lot of thought into things. For example, they left us homemade smoked pimento cheese, crackers, & bottled water. There is a very nicely stocked coffee bar with different coffees & creamers. They even have the kitchen stocked with not only plenty of dishes but also three different sizes of zip lock storage bags. They even have Dixie cups & a lint roller in the bathroom. These are just a few small details of numerous that we noticed. When we walked down to the Sound, we met the owners. They are such sweet people. We feel so blessed to have found this rental. It is affordable, super clean, well stocked, & a very short walk to the sound. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We enjoyed our stay at Denise’s house in Ocean Lakes. The house was perfect for our family. Everything was clean and tidy. The front porch was absolutely awesome. It was so relaxing. The location is great. There was plenty of room for parking our 2 vehicles and a golf cart. 11:00 check out was great as it gave us extra time and we didn’t feel rushed. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks!

This was the perfect spring break getaway in a quiet relaxing area that was a short distance from Myrtle Beach or the cute downtown area of Conway. All amenities were provided and it was a tranquil place to call home for the week. Loved the screened in porch and the river view! This place is truly a hidden gem!

Our family had a wonderful long weekend in Zane’s beach home. Tons to do in Ocean Lakes and the house was clean and comfortable.

House was just as described and in a great campground area. Lots of activities for all ages. Nice view of the ocean and the golf cart rentals made getting around easy. We had room for multiple generations to be together or separate. A very few minor things that kept me from giving five stars across the board. But truly a great experience and would recommend/stay again. Great location, home, and value.

This was a great experience from the first attempt to book at the last minute. Ervisa was quick to respond so we could relax and know we had a place to stay that night. We had stayed at several places during our vacation and this was by far the nicest and SUPER clean. They were again very accommodating when we wanted to add on a night. I only wish we had more time to actually hang out and enjoy the place.

Kara is the property manager and she was SUPER sweet, helpful and responsive. The beds were very comfortable and I LOVED how you can rent the golf carts (someone previously mentioned battery would die quick but that’s if your gone hours & hours just like you’d run out of gas) everything was nearby and we saved a lot of money and time with the golf carts due to parking, access to beach and price to rent. If you were to actually rent one from certain places it was WELL over $200/day. So Loreen was doing us a favor and making it more affordable lol The place was very clean ! I am a neat freak and super clean myself so I was on the look out 👀 but this place was very clean. Only reason I can’t go back is definitely NOT due to the place itself but because my senior dog couldn’t make it upstairs 😔 from now on we have to take stairs inconsideration. That’s because of our dog NOT this place This place is definitely 10/10 loved it and made some best memories with my family ❤️❤️❤️🥹

If you are looking to relax in a quiet and peaceful place, this is it! The view of the intercostal was enjoyable! You are situated close to everything in Myrtle Beach you could ever want! Michelle was over accommodating for us and we needed nothing more! We had a great time and we will be back! Thank you Michelle!

Upon arrival, drove down one of the most enchanting driveways I've seen in years. I was looking for peace and quiet, and found it. Lovers of flora and fauna will delight in this spot. Water birds abound, so bring your binoculars please. Although in the city of Wilmington, the home feels more like a stay at a barrier island, ripe with very old oaks. Simply lovely and outstanding AC system and a very comfortable bed. Only two things would make this cottage even more perfect, a full length sofa and a second television in the bedroom. But...it is still wonderful.

Great place! Close the everything. Very clean and comfortable. Host responded very quickly and was helpful with answering questions. Highly recommend to friends and family. Would stay here again!

John got back to me quickly when I had any questions. I could get ahold of him anytime. The place was perfect for our families-enough beds for everyone (8). Plenty of towels and the golf cart was in great shape.

This was a lovely property and an excellent stay, highly recommend!! First off, the location is prime - it's very convenient to the beaches (about 15 min to Carolina Beach, and 20 to Wrightsville) and a reasonable drive to other Wilmington classics like the Riverwalk, the Cargo district, and shopping centers. There are several grocery options close by (Lowe's Foods, Publix) if you need to stock up for your stay. Michelle's directions for finding the property were spot on and simple to follow. The property itself is quiet and peaceful, right on the intracoastal with unbeatable views from the living room and larger bedroom, not to mention the back deck and yard. The house was well stocked and spotless, and very comfortable! I hope to stay for a longer stretch in the future.

Our stay at Michelle and Jason's was exactly what we hoped for. Very relaxing and so much to do around the house. The complimentary golf cart was such a great addition to being able to see everything. When we arrived we had a few questions for the owners and not only did Jason get back to us promptly, he also came to the house and helped us out. Already getting ready to book 2 houses with Michelle and Jason for next year! A 5 Star Stay!!

When my family and I arrived we felt right at home! The home is very clean and as described. Our pups felt right at home as well, and a fenced in backyard where they could run, and play was a huge plus. Lisa absolutely thought of everything. I really appreciated the coffee and Nespresso machines that were provided. Anything you would need for the beach such as chairs wagon etc was provided as well. Lisa left guides to local restaurants and attractions. I loved that she left a camera for us to share pictures of our pups and a photo album to see all the pups that had stayed there previously. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely book with Lisa again!
