Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Waccamaw

Loved staying at Lisa’s condo! It is exactly as pictured. My kids loved the pools. Walk to the beach from the room to the sand is under 5 minutes. Lisa is super prompt to respond to any messages. We will absolutely be staying here again!

We loved our stay! The house was exactly as described, very clean and felt like home. The refrigerator was not cooling when we got there after few hours. Erica went above and beyond to accommodate, providing a way to keep our food cold, provided ice as needed before the brand new refrigerator was delivered. I highly recommend this house and can’t say enough about Erica, she was VERY responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely be coming to stay again😊

Wonderful stay!! Perfect location for everything!

Anthony and Nina’s place is awesome! It’s right across the street from the beach, with a spectacular view of the ocean from the living room and balcony. From the second we arrived, we felt right at home! It was cozy and comfortable, just what we needed for the two of us and our toddler. We felt like they had thought of everything to accommodate any needs. The kitchen is well stocked, there’s soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms, lots of hooks to hang clothes and towels, everything you need for the beach (including beach toys that our toddler loved), and extra pillows and blankets. The hosts reached out to us multiple times to make sure everything was good and were quick to respond. They communicated everything for the week thoroughly and clearly. All in all, it was a fantastic place to spend a week. We’ll definitely want to stay there again!

It was a beautiful peaceful relaxing vacation place.. clean , look just like the photos.. if you have a family or just wanna go alone to relax, you would love this place

We loved staying at Steve and Sarah’s place! It was very nice and more than enough room for just 2 of us. We needed somewhere to stay last minute and they were very helpful with getting us in. I would recommend and would stay again!

This Condo and location provided a great relaxing vacation at North Myrtle. It is close to great restaurants, shopping, and all things fun. On the nights we didn’t feel like driving, we could walk to a couple places to eat. The house itself is great, there is NOTHING lacking, it’s like staying with family. The pool and hot tub are great, very quiet and clean. We felt very safe there since it’s a gated community and the locking system on the door. Anne is fantastic to work with, she was very proactive and gave all information in advance, also providing information on the fridge about the house, etc. Will definitely stay here when we come back to North Myrtle!!

I enjoyed the attention to detail in every aspect. It was clean, cozy, and welcoming. Having the view to the beach was perfect! Great getaway and want to return soon.

Great stay! We loved that our dog could come hangout with us. The place was clean and super cute! Easy drive to beach and downtown.

Katherine was the best host. Her accommodations were darling and stocked with thoughtful details like wine, coffee and snacks. She offered extensive suggestions for local restaurants and things to do . She was friendly, welcoming and proactive. We would absolutely stay here again and will tell our friends.

Rob's place is the perfect retreat for rest and relaxation! The view from the master bedroom's upstairs deck is wonderful. Leave the door open at night and be lulled to sleep with the calming sounds of waves. The sunrises are spectacular! The beach is not crowded and there is plenty of space for all your beach gear, tents, chairs, etc. Rob's Ocean Breeze (ocean front) townhouse is spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The place is very clean and decorated in a coastal theme. He provides all the amenities you need to enjoy your beach getaway. The private beach access is literally steps away from the back deck. It's about 50 yards from the townhouse to the ocean. The Kure Beach Fishing Pier is just a 1/2 mile walk from Rob's place. Once you've arrived at the pier, you can browse through the pier's gift shop before heading out to the town of Kure Beach where you can eat at one of the town's local restaurants. The vibe at Kure Beach is fun and festive!

Thin mint is very cute, clean cottage that is close to the beach.

The place was in a very safe community, lots of older golfers. There was a pub in walking distance that we saw a lot of golfers at. The place is directly across from the pool that stayed opened till 11pm. So mu kids enjoyed night swimming. Rooms were big and lots of space.

Christy and Ken were great! The place was as described and super close to the beach and local attractions. Super responsive hosts. Would book again!

We love the pink flamingo! This is our second time staying at Cindy‘s home. Great location, spacious house. I truly love that. It’s a home away from home, when you reach for something, it’s almost there in the kitchen. Very equipped to make many meals. Our college age boys and wiener dog had a blast! Tons of games as well! We already booked for our next stay.

Donovan’s Reef was the perfect house for our yearly mother daughter trip. We enjoyed how close to the beach we were and the beach access points, loved the outside shower to rinse off before going inside, kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfy! Check in and out was easy and Holly was super prompt with responding!

David and Kris were terrific hosts! They went out of their way to keep us informed of fun events happening around the island, which we greatly appreciated as it was our first time to BHI. The unit is just as pictured and beautifully renovated. Kitchen is expertly organized and has full array of cookware. The location is central on the island, making it a quick ride to the market, beach, club, etc. The surrounding live oaks and foliage are beautiful. I would definitely recommend! We will be back.

Great stay at Gregory's condo. Enjoyed both balconies, which had comfortable furniture and front balcony has 2 views of the ocean! Two beach chairs, towels and umbrella provided, which was nice since we flew. Pier with tiki bar, food and ice cream is a block away- really nice views too! Pool was an added bonus!

This place was absolutely perfect. This is the only place I’d like to stay moving forward when visiting Myrtle Beach. The space is bright, clean, and stocked with any and everything you’d need during your stay. Truly felt like home away from home. Loved the beach house decor, view, and how every room has access to the balcony. Lillie was so responsive and accommodating. The staff, security and residents were very friendly and helpful. My family and I definitely felt like we found a gem!

It was the ocean front view for me! I loved waking up and drinking my coffee on the patio staring out. Easy beach access. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans , a kerig coffeemaker and a regular coffee pot. All the cooking utensil a person would need. The kitchen is fully functional with everything. All you need to bring is the food. I really enjoyed that. There are stairs that are pretty steep. It was during bike week . I was worried about hearing all the motorcycles . Once inside I really didn’t hear them. I really enjoyed my time there and so did my family . Again if you’re going for a beautiful view this is the place.

Great place and Amanda was very responsive. Unfortunately, my car was towed, but it was completely my fault. DO NOT FORGET THE PARKING PASS. I told Amanda afterwards, a good idea would be to put a sign inside reminding guests to make sure the pass is displayed and she did! It is easy to forget when you are in and out over several days. Close to the Carolina beach boardwalk and plenty of things to do! Nice beach umbrella and chairs, etc came in really handy!!

We had the most AMAZING stay at John and Katie’s place. The bedrooms were spotless absolutely beautiful big bedrooms. The living area was so cozy and comfortable for the five of us. It really is only a mile from the beach and the pool in the neighborhood was wonderful. The best part of the stay was having hosts that were so responsive. Initially we thought there was an issue with the air conditioning but John and Katie had an HVAC technician to the place in less than 20 minutes and it turned out the breaker was just tripped. I would give this 10 stars if I could and recommend this Airbnb to everyone who is staying in Wilmington. We will be back. Thank you John and Katie!!!!

For being a last minute trip to Wrightsville beach, Matthew made it easy with his excellent communication and instructions. The place is centrally located, an easy walk to coffee, restaurants and bars. The views of the beach/ocean are perfect and the condo was very clean. If you are looking for a place to stay in Wrightsville I'd recommed staying at Matthew's place.

Used this as a quiet getaway for a writing. It was so perfect. Was sad to leave. The beach is so beautiful and the house had all the basics with no fuss.
