Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Lake Norman

Great stay at this beautiful home! We will be back here for future stays in Charlotte!

Kristi and Amber are incredible hosts. Not only are they highly communicative, but they do so in a manner that makes you feel as if you are talking to an old friend: comfortable, casual, and caring. The property is located in a cozy, safe neighborhood and so close to the restaurants and new living areas in SouthEnd. We also just loved the mini-oasis located in the fenced in back yard area. We are so fortunate to have been able to even find this gem and for Kristi and Amber’s generous hospitality.

We had a short weekend stay at The Poolside Retreat. The location was perfect and spacious for our group. It had everything we needed. The teens loved the hot tub. We all spent most of our time in the extra tv/game room downstairs. The house was clean and beds and pillows were comfy. We felt right at home. Polo was a great host. I definitely recommend and would choose to stay here again when in the area.

Such a beautiful place! Something about it just had the right vibe--peaceful, cozy, comfortable and inviting. I spent the first day here on a solo-cation with my dog. Loved having coffee on the patio, curling up with a book on the comfy couch, and trying a new recipe for dinner in the well stocked kitchen. The second day I had my family over and they had a great time. The place isn't huge, but somehow felt spacious, open and accommodating for everyone. Loved the ample seating outside and we had a great time around the fire pit. Bathroom was pristine and beds were super clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely rent this place again in the future:)

Perfect Charlotte basecamp — for business and beers. We came as a crew for work, held meetings during the day, and used the house as our evening retreat. It balanced productivity and relaxation better than most of us do. The location? Central enough to stroll to some top-notch craft breweries (research purposes, obviously). The house itself was clean, well-organized, and ideal for groups. The backyard fire pit became our unofficial strategy hub. The pool looked great — we admired it purely as art. And yes, we may have gotten slightly too competitive on the Big Game Hunter arcade machine. No actual animals were harmed, except maybe our pride. Would 100% come back — unless you get there first.

Great location! The layout was perfect for us to have three generations of family together with space to spread out. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and walking to local restaurants for dinner.

Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

Can’t say enough great things about the property and Matt as a host. We used the property to stay while on a business trip. They were able to accommodate our large crew and their driveway was spacious enough to fit large commercial vehicles. The photos allow customers to see the beautiful property, so I want to highlight how nice it was to have a host that responds almost immediately and is helpful with any question. 15/10 experience!!

Very nice place to stay and I felt right at home. Perfect location to have privacy, but also close enough to pick up anything you may need from town. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

I celebrated my birthday with friends at Dan and Sara’s place and everything was perfect about it. From the views to the amenities we had a great time. They have plenty of kitchenware to do the home cooked meals and plenty of dishes to serve everyone at once! The rooms and bathroom were clean and spacious. We enjoyed our time in the hot tub and sitting out by the fire in the chilly weather. Thank you Dan and Sara from all of us!

We enjoyed our stay at the Wylies retreat. The home was very spacious. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. Overall our stay was a 10/10. Will be returning
