Beachfront holiday rental in Lake Norman

We had a lovely stay here! It was nice having two bedrooms on the main level as well as two above, for those who were more mobility-limited. The deck with views of the lake was a highpoint of our evenings. Very nice dock too, for those who wanted to sunbathe!

I rented the place as a Christmas present for my daughter and her husband. I kept my granddaughter while they stayed. They had problems with the internet and James made a trip to the house and personally fixed the problem. They said he was really nice.

Wonderful weekend! Anita and Tim were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. First night they surprised us by lighting up the fire pit and creating an inviting and friendly evening experience. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay. The home was clean and nice. The view was beautiful. We especially loved the living area with beautiful lake views and there were so many lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy. We will definitely stay again.

Stunning and peaceful. Such a beautiful oasis. My friend and I stayed one night and didn’t want to leave. The view from inside the cabin is also amazing. The hosts were so responsive and generous. Don’t hesitate to book here!

We enjoyed an early family Christmas with our adult children at this lovely home. There was ample space for all six of us to dine, relax, playing games, etc. We even found out what we needed in the kitchen to make our traditional Xmas cookies together. It was well equipped. The yard is very nice and if there had not been a bit of a cold snap, I think we all would have taken advantage of the outdoor space more. I think this would be a very nice retreat in warmer weather. Michael was very communicative and accommodating, offering up and early check in and late check out since there were no other guests around our reservation. Our stay was a pleasant experience.

Great home to spend quality time with family or close friends. Kids enjoy the outdoor space and kayaks. Adults had a great time by the fire. Everyone had their own space if needed. Will be coming back soon!!

Just got back from an amazing stay at my comfy Airbnb 🏡! The grill area was definitely a major plus – I love grilling some BBQ 🍔. Spent the whole time relaxing and enjoying the space. This single level, 5 bedroom home is on a beautiful lake with a very big yard and many activities (including kayaks, paddle board, dock, tether ball, fosball and fishing). The portable crib, high chair, small couch and outside chair in the children's area was very helpful for our grandson. The setting was very peaceful. There were many outside activities including the Whitewater Center, the amusement park and nature centers that we enjoyed.

Such a beautiful place! Something about it just had the right vibe--peaceful, cozy, comfortable and inviting. I spent the first day here on a solo-cation with my dog. Loved having coffee on the patio, curling up with a book on the comfy couch, and trying a new recipe for dinner in the well stocked kitchen. The second day I had my family over and they had a great time. The place isn't huge, but somehow felt spacious, open and accommodating for everyone. Loved the ample seating outside and we had a great time around the fire pit. Bathroom was pristine and beds were super clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely rent this place again in the future:)

We loved our time at the Lake Lookout Guest Cottage! Julie was a wonderful host--from the first communications about our stay to the welcoming cookies and card to thoughtful details and amenities throughout the house--she helped us to just arrive and relax. The location to downtown Statesville was convenient and the property grounds were peaceful with a view of the lake. We enjoyed access to the dock/beach area for fishing and sunset photos. We hope to return to the Cottage again!

Beautiful property! Ideal proximity to Rock Barn Spa & Golf and great restaurants (Fourk!) but so private and peaceful.

Our visit to Mooresville was for our son’s wedding and we wanted a place where family could meet and connect. While our days included wedding preparations, family orchestration, area navigation and more, this home away from home was a relaxing oaisis. There was plenty of room for privacy when needed, group mealtimes together (the butler pantry was terrific!), indoor and outdoor areas for family to congregate, play games, and enjoy the hot tub. We never felt cramped and the location was perfect for us. The weather did not allow any lake activities, but waking up with coffee, indoor & outdoor fireplaces, and the view provided a great calm during our visit. Hosts were responsive and kind. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home!!! The kids enjoyed the house and did not want to leave. The view to the lake was breathtaking. We enjoyed every second. The family games and the pool table was everything we needed for a family vacation. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us.

The place was very nice and met our needs. We feel the price was more than we anticipated after seeing the cleaning fees and other fees added, you learn from other places we've stayed in the past that the cost was our biggest issue. We only had a full day and a half with the family which we felt could have been a longer stay for what we paid. Anyway it is a very nice place for those that have bigger pockets.

Staying on the lake was amazing, we used it almost every day we were there to unwind from our tournament

This is a beautiful and unique property. Plenty of space for everyone. The views are beautiful and there are many outdoor seating areas. We Loved grilling out by the lake and Rick left some fire wood for us and we made a nice bonfire. Rick was always available to answer questions about the house. We will be back.

Very spacious and clean my kids had fun at the lake will stay again anytime I come to charlotte
