I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside house! The location is absolutely stunning—waking up to peaceful lake views each morning was a highlight. The house itself was spotless and incredibly well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway by the water.

Beautiful home on Lake Murray Celebrated son’s graduation from University of South Carolina!! Worked out perfectly!! If could change anything would be the rain!! Rented a pontoon boat at local marina just wish the weather was better! Still had a great time! Definitely recommend this home. Beautiful!!

This is such a perfect home. All the details really make it feel special. The beds were super comfortable and you can tell they put a great deal of care into the location.

If I could give Kim and her home 6 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate! I loved it so much that I booked another stay with her a day before I left. They were so friendly and the view is incredible. I originally booked another home and the host cancelled less than 24 hours from check in. As you can imagine, I was in a difficult situation with a family reunion already planned nearby. Kim saved the day by quickly accepting my stay request and our vacation was better than we could’ve imagined. In the end, I’m so glad the original host canceled because I found this incredible home and met the wonderful owners that give a whole new meaning to Super Hosts!! Thanks Kim! We (a group of retired women who on a road trip to see the fabulous Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain perform at the equally fabulous 19th century opera house) loved our stay at the Inspiration House. Every thing about the property was exactly as described. Our host was extremely proactive and bent over backwards to make our short stay the success it was. We loved it and would not hesitate to stay again.

It was super clean, easy to find, convenient to everything, and Rosemarie was so responsive! Oh, and the beds were super comfortable. Thank you so much! I know you let us stay on short notice and it’s very much appreciated..

Best place to stay in the Columbia area. We rented 3 units, with about 7-8 people, and these spaces accommodated us well. The living spaces were phenomenal. The kitchen was pristine! Even the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend this location and will be returning anytime we are in the area. Thank you!

It was such a pleasant stay. The place is quiet and peaceful. There’s a little lake around the neighborhood that is nice to walk around and enjoy the nature. The host is super nice and is very responsive on any possible problems. Everything was clean and tidy. All necessary supplies and amenities are provided with extras. Definitely recommend for anyone that want to travel for short term or for long term stay. It is absolutely worth it. Would come again myself if I ever want to enjoy all the awesomeness!

Jeff and Elizabeth are great hosts! They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made fresh bread and had it waiting for us, along with an invite to a community event. Elizabeth and Jeff are lovely people and made us feel right at home. My teenage son told me to definitely book with them again next time I’m in town.

Had a great stay. The place was very clean and as described. The owner was very nice and accommodating. No problems at all with our stay. The location was what we needed, but know that grocery stores and other stores are a good 10-minutes away. If you are needing to do work while at this location, the wifi strength was not the best. Also, please read the house rules as this was the only place where it was noted that bed sheets and towels are not provided. Overall, the place and stay was just perfect for us. Thank You!!

This place was peaceful and very relaxing. The host communicated effectively throughout my stay. Please walk the nature trail it is breathtaking and adds so much more to the stay.

Great space near Columbia. Perfect amount of space for my family while we were in town.
