Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Murray

Our family and friends stayed during Masters week and appreciated the quiet, relaxing location that was only about an hours drive to Augusta, GA. It made for a quick morning commute without much traffic and allowed us to hop on the express way for a straightforward drive. The house offers plenty of rooms for multiple guests, and was exactly as described in the photos and other reviews! They did a great job welcoming us, offered suggestions on other activities to do in the area while we were in town. Our two friends who stayed with us made good use of the kayaks as well for some lake boating. It was so peaceful we didn't run into any other families, even though there are plenty of surrounding houses - the view of the lake is absolutely beautiful and anyone wanting a private upstairs master suite will love this location! Chris and his co-hosts were also incredibly responsive, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely consider this as a place to stay during The Masters!

We really enjoyed our time here. They had everything we could have needed and more. So many little details that made it an awesome place to stay. We love the backyard where we played bags, enjoyed a small Easter egg hunt, and conversations around the fire. The porch was a cozy place to relax and there was plenty of space for everyone in the house. It was a perfect place for us to visit with family and unwind after our time celebrating the graduation of our newest family soldier. We recommend this place to anyone coming to the area.

We loved this home! It's very inviting , welcoming, beautifully decorated, and an awesome yard with a awesome sitting area. The pet area in the washroom is above and beyond any pet friendly place we've ever stayed. Sonia you are so thoughtful. We appreciate you everything.

Everything was great! Very clean and close to a good coffee shop and grocery store. Host was proactive and helpful.

Amos’s place was perfect for our little family and had everything that we needed. It was also very clean and there was very many things to keep you occupied- which was very nice. I also love the swinging chair in the living room! Perfect location, perfect host & perfect house! We will be back.

Mira’s home is wonderful, very clean, might be the cleanest home we’ve visited, it’s very well stocked, honestly all we needed to bring was our clothes!! We felt right at home in Mira’s home. The backyard is so peaceful and well landscaped we really enjoyed our afternoon’s in the sunshine. Mira is very responsive! We had an issue, or we thought we did, and Mira responded immediately, it really wasn’t an issue but knowing that Mira was there so fast made it very assuring for us. Ohhhh!! And the mattresses are amazing! Never have we had such comfortable mattresses in an AirB&B! I’m asking Mira what brand they are and getting one for myself! Mira is friendly and cares about her guests that visit her home.

We stayed at Dave’s place for 5 nights and felt very comfortable the entire time. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of cute homes. If you’re traveling with a dog this place is a must as well with the big fenced in yard and doggie door. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make our meals and enjoyed having dinner on the deck outside. You can’t go wrong staying here!

Jeff and Elizabeth are great hosts! They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made fresh bread and had it waiting for us, along with an invite to a community event. Elizabeth and Jeff are lovely people and made us feel right at home. My teenage son told me to definitely book with them again next time I’m in town.

We booked a last minute stay because we were in town for a funeral..Mark & Ruth were very accommodating. As for cleanliness probably one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed..the beds super comfy & just the best hosts! I hope we can come back again some time for a more relaxing reason :)

We had wonderful weekends stay at the barn apartment. Andrea and Cecilia are great and very hospitable hosts. The surrounding grounds are a lovely place to relax and forget about daily life and the on-site restaurant was an unexpected bonus. The trail riding was a great experience, and I would highly recommend.

Absolute loved this place and the host! Courtney was so nice and accommodating. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The area was so nice. Close to Walmart, beautiful garden, playground and pool. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Courtney! Highly recommended and definitely will be back!

Towanda was a responsive host who made sure I was taken care of. The place was excellent. Would stay there again.

Our stay at Victoria’s Airbnb was so much fun. Our kids had a blast playing in the creek and tree house. She even left an Easter basket of toys for our kids outside the door. We’ll definitely be back the next time we need to stay in Columbia!

great little place super quiet

This wonderful weekend getaway was gifted to us by a mutual friend of Mike's, my boyfriend, and myself. It was absolutely an amazing cabin and property. The serenity and tranquility were phenomenal and much appreciated. The house was fully stocked with cookware, dishes, toiletries, and linens. Even down to the bug spray on the front porch. We were able to watch the Osprey diving for fish, hear the bullfrog croak, hear the Whippoorwills call, and the fish jumping. We also caught a quick glance at either an otter or a beaver. The downstairs bed slept wonderfully. We loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs watching the water and the wildlife. The mile drive through the woods, the cabin, the antiques, and the smell of the cabin, the call of the whippoorwills took me back many moons ago. To a farm in Madison, NC, where my mother was raised. It was a gorgeous and peaceful location. We thank you, Laura, Mike, and the crew. Sincerely, Lisa and Ernest

Nice little cabin on a road with only a few other homes. Short walk to the dock and lots of wooded areas to explore.

This was a really beautiful property and so quiet. Everything was as described and very clean. The pool, jacuzzi and fire pit were the highlights. We enjoyed our time here very much and would definitely return in the future. If you're looking for a nice cabin with a beautiful view, close to anything you would need at the stores, then you should stay here!

Some places may say they are peaceful and quiet. This house and location actually were just that. Neighbors were virtually nonexistent. We cook all of our meals so I can't speak on local eateries. The house had everything we needed for the week and was very comfortable sitting inside and outside. I will reserve this place every chance it is available. Jesse was responsive when communicating and instructions were clear when staying there and checking in and out.

Cristina’s place was perfect for our stay. We were here for a softball tournament. The unit was very close to the fields. The unit was IMPECCABLY CLEAN!!! Beds/linens were very comfortable. Had everything we needed. We’d definitely book Cristina’s place should our travels bring us back to the area! We highly recommend her to future guests.

Great fishing house. Boat ramp was in good condition and was able to fit 2 trucks each with a boat in the drive way.
