Guesthouse holiday rentals in Lake Hartwell

Jen’s Hideaway is the perfect private spot to come back to after visiting Central and Clemson. It is extremely clean and well appointed. The bed is very comfortable. Jen is a friendly host. She even baked us delicious blueberry muffins.

Had an amazing time at this gorgeous space. It was exactly as advertised, and Jessica was extremely responsive and proactive as a host. Thank you so much! Will definitely book there again!

Marsha Lynn's loft was cozy, private and pristine, with a beautiful view. The amenities were generous, as was the provided local guidebook. Marsha Lynn was responsive, thoughtful and professional. Couldn't be happier with our stay!

The cabin is a cute, spartan place. Tony was responsive to our messages & handled our issues. The bed's a bit on the older side; not necessarily the most comfortable. Close to downtown Greenville yet far enough for peace.

Absolutely loved staying at Matthew and Beverly’s place! The open scenery and view of the mountains was amazing to wake up to each morning. Exploring their land and the creek was just enough adventure for me! We will definitely be back.

Lisa's Lodge was wonderful; just perfect for the two of us. It was so nice to take a dip in the lovely pool, sit by the the beautiful lake and take walks around the grounds and up the road. Proximity to Anderson yielded a couple of good restaurants and it was also an easy trip to Greenville and its charms. Lisa is very nice and her son offered help in case we needed it during a rainstorm. What a happy experience! We both want to go back!

Dustin was easily accessible and quickly responsive when I had questions. his accommodations at the cottage far exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend for other guests to try it out. and if in the area again I would definitely try to stay there. highly recommended.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Perfect size for the 4 of us. Ginny and Sid are wonderful hosts. Our flight was changed and delayed and we didn’t arrive till 3am and had to leave for Clemson graduation by 730am. With little to no time to sleep or eat breakfast they stocked the place with fresh pastries, fruit and bagels and cream cheese. We sadly were only to spend nights at the property so we did t get a chance to take the whole lake location in. I’d go back in a heartbeat

Beth’s place is amazing. We have stayed here before and loved it so much we came back to stay again. It’s a beautiful house on the water with a pristine guest house that’s private, extremely clean, and very well maintained. Beth is incredibly friendly and always a great communicator. Quiet, peaceful, stay. Amy was very responsive and helpful with local recommendations. We enjoyed our stay with our two dogs, felt right at home!

We enjoyed our stay on a trip to Clemson for a graduation. It was easy to find and so peaceful and quiet. Shannon and David have done a wonderful job of decorating and we enjoyed looking at everything. They pay attention to detail which makes for a pleasant stay. The kitchen had everything and the bathroom was clean and every need was provided for. We would definitely stay here again.

Due to unforeseen circumstances at home, I had no other option other than to leave within 24 hours of having arrived to Jennifer's incredible cabin. Our paths did not even cross, though I would have liked to have met Jennifer and her husband. Did meet their friendly dogs, however. Jennifer even tried to have the two, unused nights' accommodation refunded back to me... and were 50% successful. Very kind of them; Unexpected, as my early departure had nothing to do with them. It was an urgent matter that required my return home immediately. So, I sincerely thank these great hosts for their understanding. Respectfully, Robert

Our stay at Gabriella's was wonderful. It is close enough to major roads to get anywhere quickly yet in a quiet neighborhood and very private. The living room was comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were large and everything was beautifully decorated. With family new to the area, I've already asked to stay there again!

The cabin was great! Neat decorations highlighting that this is an older cabin that has been fixed up but still shows off the history of being a lake house and antique furniture throughout. Nice having coffee on the porch listening to the birds. We walked out on the dock but didn’t stick around, but we said it would be a fun thing to do to go swim by the dock and spend the day there. There isn’t much to eat nearby and there isn’t a full “kitchen” in the cabin, but definitely sufficed for us! Sherri was very helpful and responsive with recommendations. We visited many wineries nearby before going to stay one night there. Thanks!

This was a quiet spot with friendly neighbors. Be careful if you walk to Travelers Rest as some dogs are off leash. One chased me onto a porch. This was a cross street to the rental location. The rest of the stay was nice and the hosts were very accommodating!

Ashley‘s carriage house was such a cute place to stay. It is very central in Clemson to everything you would need to go to and was perfect to attend an event in Clemson. Is extremely clean and I especially loved all the Clemson Tiger touches in decor. I would stay here again if I came back for a Clemson game!

We brought our teen daughter and our family dog to Clemson for a tour. This lake cabin was delightful. Angela helped us with supplies for our dog and a late checkout. The walk to the lake is just a few feet, and our dog enjoyed a quick swim. Just a few minutes from Clemson.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home for our Tiger's graduation from Clemson. The home was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the backyard and patio as well. The host was friendly and responsive.

Beautiful guesthouse! It was very clean and was exactly as pictured. Alexandra greeted us upon our arrival even though it was a little late. She is quick to respond to messages. I definitely recommend her home and will stay again when we are in that area.

Such a great find, and walkable to W. Greenville, Unity Park, Swamp Rabbit Trail, West End, and the south end of downtown. The space was well-appointed, clean, and with your own back entrance opposite the main house, felt very private. Looking forward to staying at Nicholas and Ashleigh’s place again the next time we’re in GVL!
