House holiday rentals in Lake Hartwell

We had a great week! Beautiful view, spacious condo and very comfortable! The kids loved the pool and lake access both within walking distance. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and nearby hikes! Definitely recommend- we will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Clayton, GA while in town for a wedding with another family. The house had everything we needed—super clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made meals easy, and the whole place had such a welcoming, cozy feel. The location was perfect—just a short walk into town, which is absolutely adorable. We happened to be there during a local festival, and it was such a treat to see the community in action. Lots of local pride and charm all around! The outdoor space was a huge bonus. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids, and the spacious yard gave them plenty of room to run around and play. It was a quick trip, so we didn’t get to explore as much of the area as we would’ve liked, but there’s clearly a lot to see and do. We’d definitely love to come back and stay longer! Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Clayton area—whether for a special event or just a relaxing getaway.

We had a great stay at Zach’s cabin. It was very clean and perfectly met our needs. We will definitely book Zach’s cabin when we’re in the area again.

Such a beautiful home and place. We enjoyed the stay! The pool was by far our favorite just wish we had better weather to enjoy it further. Great customer service. We accidentally set the fire alarm off one night and she didn’t hesitate to message to make sure everything was okay.

Lots of space for our family, well stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks. Really enjoyed the pool and grill!

Tyler’s place was nice and comfortable. Clean beds and couches. We had a large group. My sisters and I planned on cooking daily. When I notified Tyler that one of the burners was not working he sent a maintenance employee to check it out. A new stove was installed for us to use. The children enjoyed riding their bikes in the neighborhood and wanted to get in the pool but it was too cold. We have to plan another trip. Christmas was fun at this house . Thank you Tyler for being such an awesome and responsive host!

This farmhouse vacation was the best our family has experienced so far. We have stayed at over 15 rentals via this platform and others but by far this was the best. If Amy could have controlled the weather, then the trip would have been unbelievable. The house has everything a person needs to stay comfortably. The location is peaceful. The animals come up to the fence each morning and night and allow you to pet them. One horse wants all the attention....lol. The donkeys allow you to give them love too. The house had a full kitchen, a bar area, large living room and 4 beautiful and well-furnished bedrooms. The pool was nice but only used 3 days since we had rain most days. If a person has a small group of 10ish people, this is the perfect house for you. The small neighboring towns have things to see and do. So many waterfalls in the area. You definitely won't be disappointed if you choose to go to Seneca and stay at this house. Amy, thank you for sharing your home!

Tammy and her house were absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for anything we needed. The home was fully stocked and had tons of extras. This place inside and out is gorgeous and the pictures just don’t do it justice. The pool and spa were both very relaxing and very well maintained. We definitely plan on coming back whenever we are in the area again. Paddling and kayaking the lake right from the dock was a huge plus. If you ever visit Lake Hartwell - I 100/10 recommend this place!

Pictures don’t do this home justice. The lake, the grounds and the home are STUNNING and so peaceful. We were blessed to spend 8 days here and only left the property one time to grab more groceries. The home is well-appointed with everything you could possibly need during your stay. And Monica is not only extremely responsive, thoughtful and accommodating, but also very kind and easy to deal with. If a getaway from the hustle and bustle is what you’re looking for, there’s literally nothing you’ll be left wanting if you choose this location. It’s clean. It’s quiet. It’s beautiful! It’s relaxing.

Such a sweet spot! Quiet neighborhood. Quiet inlet of Lake Hartwell. A perfect place for our 3-family reunion with kiddos. We spent most of the daytime on the water (rented a boat one day, hung out and swam off the dock the next day). Evenings were savored on the porch. Well-stocked kitchen. Enjoyed the multiple living room spaces to hang, especially the beautiful sun room. Loved the SUP and kayaks for the lake. Erin was so responsive and helpful. Chasing Shade was exactly as described. We’ve been going to Reed Creek for over 30 years, so it was fun to stay near the SC part of the lake. The house is close to everything. Even though it’s on a busy road, it’s set far enough back and has a huge yard. We loved that it was dog friendly, so that we could travel with our labradoodle. The decks and dock have great views of the lake. Swimming and fishing right off the dock was perfect. We even caught some fish! The kitchen and house were well stocked with necessities and more. It was nice to have inflatables and beach towels. The beds were very comfortable. Overall - a solid 5 star property!

Sam was a kind, thoughtful and responsive host. We were in town to spend time with family who stayed on Lake Keowee. The lake was beautiful and fun but we were so happy to retreat to the solitude and quiet of the cottage. The cottage was charming and very thoughtfully designed. Should we return to Seneca, we will likely book with Sam again.

Great location on the water. Close to grocery stores and restaurants as well. Large dock and deck with lots of chairs/tables. Large house with lots of space to have privacy when wanted, but also hang out together. Weather didn’t cooperate so we couldn’t take advantage of the kayaks, marina or hikes in the surrounding state parks. There was a binder listing local restaurants and the local waterfall hikes available.

Wow… just wow. What a wonderful girls weekend we had at Terry’s place! The four of us haven’t been in the same place for over a decade & we had such a relaxing time!! The views were breathtaking and Terry was the perfect host! He was so very responsive & the house met our every need and then some!! Would LOVE to come back & stay again sometime!

Had a great stay here! The place is super close to the lake, which made it perfect for morning coffee with a view and quick kayak trips (they had kayaks available, which was a big plus). The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed — comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and even a grill for evening BBQs. The area was peaceful and relaxing, but still not too far from town if you needed anything. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a chill getaway near the water!

We had such a great time at the lake house. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The boat was a big hit and we spent hours out on the water. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors we met were kind and friendly. We spent most evenings on the back porch just hanging out as a family and watching the deer come through the yard. Ryan was a great host. He was very helpful and always quick to respond when we had a question. It was the perfect spot to relax and make some really special memories. We would definitely come back.

We had a lovely stay in Lauren's home. You feel like you're living in the Brady Bunch house! Classic 1960s everything. The beds and seating were all very comfortable, and we enjoyed the abundant decks, the hammock, the kayak, the TV... the kitchen had everything you could want, and we appreciated the extra bag of ice and cans of sparkling water they left for us. We highly recommend it. If you're more noise-sensitive, we recommend the downstairs bedroom, which is insulated from the noisier/brighter open layout of the upstairs.

Great cabin! We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board which were easy to launch at the boat ramp down the street. Home had much more space than we thought which was a nice plus. Owners are very responsive and also provided good recommendations. The home is near (15-20 minutes) from Harbor Light Marina which is convenient for renting boats on Lake Hartwell. Awesome experience for my family of 6!

Such a quaint cute home. Everything we needed while we were there. 1 recommendation is to put house number on front of house as there are 2 homes side by side that look very much alike and we were unsure which home we were checking in to. Download instructions before you get there as you will most likely lose signal.

Our host was so kind and for that I am so thankful! The home and property are beautiful. The kitchen is way better equipped than any other place I’ve stayed (at least 10 different ones) which is awesome if you love to cook like me and are there cooking a holiday feast! Y’all, no place will feel perfect because no other place is your own home but this place comes close. Ildi’s responsiveness and kindness are the icing on the cake. We had a simple and pleasant experience here at the lake house and that’s all that we prayed for.

The place is amazing! It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful lake views and morning visits from baby deer - you really can’t ask for a better spot to recharge from city life as a family. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need (and more) for a comfortable stay. There’s also a tucked-away playroom above the garage with rocking chairs and a kids’ craft table, my boys absolutely loved it and spent hours building Legos while their exhausted parents relaxed on the beautiful deck at night. We didn’t have a boat, but still enjoyed the lake to the fullest, the hosts kindly provided a paddleboard and kayak. The walk to the dock was literally just two minutes, with a gentle entry into the lake that’s perfect for little ones, no sharp drops to worry about. The food in the area was hit or miss, but we highly recommend El Arriero at The Shores (fantastic Mexican food) and Grove Fork BBQ. We loved this place! Thank you for having us!

This house was Perfect! From the moment you arrive it's so peaceful! The view of the lake is second to none. The yard, dock and deck were our favorite places! (bring bug spray). The breeze and tree shade were perfect so it wasn't every crazy hot and the AC inside was AMAZING. The kids LOVED the zip line, going out in the kayaks with Dad, and fishing off the doc for HOURS. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again!
