Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake County

Stayed here for a few nights as a family of 4 with two children under 10. Worked out great for us, with the full kitchen and additional bedroom. Short drive to Copper Mt so we didn’t have to deal with I70 traffic. Found the history of the house and buildings in the back very interesting. Would stay here again.

This house was great for our group of 10. Spacious and comfortable downstairs to hang out. The kids bunk room was a big hit with our four kids. The bunk beds for two of the adults were not so fun, but we made do. The house was very clean when we arrived. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. House is in very quick driving distance to downtown. The surrounding area is okay, not the nicest, but probably will be great in a few years. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone passing through.

We had a great stay at Jill’s place. The house was very clean and had enough furnishings that we were able to make ourselves comfortable. Our dogs were able to enjoy the fenced in yard. The bathroom had tons of countertop space and the heated floor was a bonus, especially on a cold weekend. We were able to walk into town. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to Leadville.

We've been to Leadville many times, and really enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well-equipped house. It's walkable to everything in downtown Leadville and is equipped with everything you need to cook good meals and relax after a day outdoors. We loved it and would definitely stay there again!

Nice place. Good amenities. Very good communications with guests. Walking distance of grocery store. Driveway was nicely shoveled off. Close distance to both SKICooper and Copper mountain- about 30 minutes.

Loved this house and highly recommend! Stayed for a ski trip with our family of five (3 teenage sons). Great location in newly developed Railyard just a couple of blocks from Highway 24. Minutes from downtown and within eyesight of Safeway. Less than 15-minute drive to Ski Cooper. The layout of the house is great for a family. Entry level has a living room with TV and seating for all 5 of us, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedroom with bunk bed. Upper level had a bathroom and bedroom with desk workstation. Lower level had a bathroom, bedroom and second living room with couches, TV and desk with workstation. The kitchen was one of the best I’ve ever had in a rental. I’m a cook and the gas stove was great. Pots and pans were great and there was plenty of dishes/cutlery. We had a minor issue when we checked in and the owner Tim responded immediately and not only fixed the problem but treated us to dinner, way above and beyond. The house was great, and Tim was great. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at! Very cute place. Well stocked. Great location (easy walk to downtown). And Stephanie had fantastic communication before we even arrived. She told us all the great restaurants to try out and all the hot spots to hit. Great experience staying here.

The house was clean, cozy, and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The location was great - close to everything. We loved the architecture and decor of the house which seems to reflect the history of Leadville. Also, Jenn was awesome. So kind and responsive. We would stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay here. A beautiful half mile walk to Main Street and right by the creek. Hosts were very responsive and communicative. Place was great inside, games and everything we needed. Very well stocked. Would highly recommend!

Had a great ski trip! Location in the resort square was great and the communal hot tub/pool table were nice amenities. Definitely would stay again! Check-in was at a different building but is very easy to find and has easy instructions.

Place was super nice, with the river passing nearby, peaceful and quiet. Nice space and deco. Cozy. Bathrooms and kitchen a bit outdated, I would recommend to get them some love and work ...sometimes we ran out of hot water after the second guest took a shower. Overall super nice place.

We had a great stay at Kara's place. It is in an excellent location—1 minute to the ski/town bus. Also, it is perfectly walkable to town in the evening without ski equipment. Two good-sized rooms and a lovely living area. The well-stocked kitchen made us feel right at home. The host was friendly and helpful. Fabulous views and overall I highly recommend it!

Clean and has everything you need for essential necessities. Very convenient location, about 5-10 minutes from downtown and the slopes! Can’t beat it.

The truth is that it is a very quiet area for lovers of peace and tranquility. I recommend it. It is really very beautiful.

This Airbnb was perfect for our ski trip. The place was very spacious and had an amazing view. The Airbnb was a 10 minute walk to the peak 9 lift and a 10 minute walk to Main Street restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive. Definitely would recommend staying at this Airbnb.

Unique home in a great location. The house is decorated beautifully and you get a private hot tub. Super spacious as well with several “guest houses” on the property. Like other reviews point out, the place definitely needs some updating. No one in our party loved the showers (small, no water pressure, difficult to set temp) and the beds were spring mattresses, so not the most comfortable. For those reasons, i feel the place was a bit over priced for our short stay, but all-in-all, we had a great time. The owner/point of contact seemed very friendly and was responsive when we reached out. We would consider staying again!
