Our family had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed our cabin stay. We celebrated my son’s birthday and Mother’s Day together. My son always likes to go on a trip/experience for his birthday and this was the cabin he chose. Picturesque views. Weather was great. The cabin really helps you feel right at home while soaking up the relaxation. We really had a great time.

My husband and I booked this home for our 19th Anniversary Trip last minute after deciding we weren’t excited about going to the beach. And boy, did we make a great choice In fact we came home thinking maybe we should move to Colorado:) Everything about this home is perfection. Stunning views in every direction. Hot tub stargazing is the perfect way to end a day exploring the mountains. Comfortable bed and furniture. We were even lucky enough to watch moose taking an afternoon swim in the community fishing pond We truly did not want to leave. If this house is on your list, just go ahead and book it, you won’t regret it.

We selected this cabin for a two-night family getaway with our two adult children to get away and just enjoy a relaxing weekend with family. We got exactly that. Anna contacted us well before our check-in to give us the information we needed to settle into the cabin quickly. The cabin was bright and welcoming, and the views from the dining room table and deck were great. The kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen utensils to prepare a family meal, and lots of extra kitchen goodies that you almost felt like you were in your own kitchen. We enjoyed many the morning sun and stargazing on the deck. Very peaceful. The hot tub and roasting smores on the lower deck was a great way to cap off our stay. It was an all-around great cabin for hospitality, welcoming and comfortable accommodations, and just the right setting to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Beautiful, well appointed home with tons of lovely little luxuries and touches that really made us feel relaxed and on vacation. The hot tub was great! Also really appreciated the lack of chores to do upon checking out - just take your stuff and go!

Stop looking, you found it! We came here to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and we could not have asked for anything more — this place was truly amazing! We enjoyed the incredible views for hours from both the huge picture windows and the hot tub out front. It was a secluded getaway to bask in the peace and quiet. A few evenings we had deer munching in the yard and we saw beavers swimming in the ponds out front along with a moose, and a fox family with 5 kits, very cool! The home itself is so cozy with really tasteful decor & a lovely wood burning stove. The bed & linens were very comfortable as well. Jordan and Colin were great hosts, very friendly & helpful if we had questions. We’re already thinking of all the people we’d love to share this idyllic place with. A truly stand-out property!

This place has a peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. The hot spring itself was truly something everyone should experience once in their life! The host was very accommodating and decorated for us as newlyweds. Truly a magical experience we will never forget!

This is a truly magical place. We had the best time paddle boarding and fishing in Twin Lakes. From early morning coffee down by the roaring river to long soaks in the luxurious bathtubs at the end of the day —- we had such a lovely experience. The small touches and style choices have made this home so charming and inviting. Barb was such a wonderful point of contact and offered an open line of communication during our entire visit. It’s easy to tell when your host is invested in you having the best possible time. My family left feeling well-rested and full of blueberry pancakes. What more can you really ask for? It is well with my soul. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

We had a great time at Brian’s cabin. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of space for everyone, fully stocked kitchen and upgraded bathrooms. The view from the deck is top notch. Everyone in the family gave it 5 stars! We enjoyed the history of the family as well. The directions were easy to follow to get there. The locals are super friendly as well. We would come back!

Lovely cabin that was the perfect setting for our family’s trip to the mountains. Close enough to Leadville for easy trips to town, while the cabin itself is scenic and private. Appreciated the garage and the pet friendly atmosphere. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We stayed at Buckeye's Cabin for a long weekend in early March. We were warm (thanks to the heater and wood-burning stove) and in close proximity to Leadville. The cabin is a time capsule to the historic west and is as-advertised! All three guests were comfortable. Though we didn't use the kitchen, it has authentic antique charm which is worth considering if you plan to cook. There are heavy-duty window coverings on all windows, but Buckeye's Cabin is situated on Highway 91 so expect mild traffic noise. Overall, we had a 5-star stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a "glamping" experience, any time of year, near Leadville!

This was one of the nicest stays I’ve ever had. I was at Dan’s cabin for 4.5 weeks, and it was just heavenly. I arrived when the Aspen were just budding and got to see them fully bloom. The cabin was fantastic. It was just my cat and me, so we had more than enough space. The bed was incredibly comfortable (I was grateful for that since I was staying so long). The bathrooms were great and the kitchen was SO well-equipped. My favorite part was all the windows. They were all huge and open—no coverings—so it felt like you were part of the outside with beautiful sights to see. The location was perfect for me—easy to do a number of day trips, but fantastic to come back to with privacy and serenity. Dan was always super-responsive! He had to come one night to move a huge Aspen tree from blocking the driveway to the cabin. He was always on call for questions. I feel so fortunate that Dan allowed me to stay. I hope to again next summer. It was the nicest time I’ve had in a long time.

Lisa's cabin was a wonderful weekend getaway. The location, right under Mt Elbert provides a ton to do near by. The home itself was comfortable and well furnished. My family enjoyed fishing the Arkansas and spending time around Twin Lakes! Would definitely return.

Perfect for a peaceful getaway!

We rented all 4 cabins with our family and had the most wonderful time ever! The views were absolutely beautiful!!! There was plenty of space for the 12 of us to gather outdoors and enjoy the mountain views. The cabins had everything we needed for the week. The host was helpful and very quick to respond. We spent time relaxing at Twin Lakes Beach. It is just a short 5 min drive from the cabins. We rented kayaks and paddle boards from Twin Lakes SUP and cycle. The town is adorable with a convenience store, coffee shop, and restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our family had a great time and can’t wait to come back next year!

Lovely secluded stay ~8min drive from downtown Leadville. We had a really nice 4 day stay. The cabin is very cozy with ample room for two people. Great location to lots of great hiking. Highly recommend!

I especially enjoyed the sunroom off the master bedroom, looking out at the gorgeous snow-capped mountains while sitting on the chaise lounge chair. I also watched the prairie dogs scurry about AND we saw a beautiful fox next door a couple of times. We had coffee every morning while the sun streamed in the kitchen window. I cooked up some farm fresh eggs that we got next door at the TenderFoot Farm market. Bert gave ideas of where to go and what to do around the area, for example, right across the street there are stairs leading up to a lookout point. Bert mentioned it and I'm so glad we walked the 5 minutes to find stunning views of the lakes and mountains. I loved looking around their house and admiring their decorating style, artwork, and antiques. Everything is well taken care of and in working order. We absolutely loved our stay at Alpine Haven.

Zuni cabin was such a peaceful and wonderful retreat. It was the perfect serene place for us to relax after long skiing days. The fireplace and heat kept us plenty warm and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals in. We brought our hairless cat who also did super well with our stay there - we were initially concerned with her being warm enough but the cabin was super comfortable for her. The shower water was hot and the views from the living room out at the mountains were spectacular. Truly, everything I could have asked for and matched the description perfectly. On days with heavy snow the driveway was plowed and our porch and steps were often shoveled upon our return which was a nice treat after a tiring day of skiing. Paul was super friendly, responsive, and helpful. I'd absolutely stay here again and perhaps book some of the neighboring cabins for friends/family.

Our stay was fantastic. You can’t get better views than what this house has to offer. Our host was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The house had plenty of space for our family of four and was well equipped. We made almost every meal at home and had everything needed to do so. (Had burgers from The Mountain Goat Food Truck in Leadville one night and they were great.) We got an unexpected 10+ inches of snow and wow! The winter wonderland the place turned into. Beauty like nothing we have seen before. There were deer roaming in the snow and it was overall just a postcard worthy scene. Just a note for guests … we used Google Maps to get us to the house and it told us the house was on the left and it is actually on the right so we ended up at the wrong house and missed it again after turning around. The driveway is easy to miss! Also, as stated in the notes for the house, 4 wheel drive is a must, especially in the snow. Highly recommend this house and host. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
