Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lagoa

Wir waren 5 Nächte in Ritas Unterkunft und haben es wirklich geliebt. Super schönes Haus, perfekt ausgestattet, geniale Lage und ruhige Gegend. Die Dachterasse mit Blick auf den Atlantik war nach einem “anstrengenden” Tag am Strand ein toller Ort um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich jedem weiterempfehlen! Wir verbrachten im Herbst eine Woche in der modernen Villa in Ferragudo. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermietung war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Die Villa ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen und verschiedene Einkaufmöglichkeiten sind nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Das schöne Städtchen Ferragudo kann auch gut zu Fuss besucht werden und bietet viele kleine Restaurants (ende Sept. / anfangs Okt. noch grösstenteils geöffnet). Die Villa ist sehr geräumig. So bieten sich verschiedene Aufenthaltsorte Drinnen und Draussen an, was sehr angenehm ist. Unsere Kinder spielten sehr gerne Billard im grosszügigen Aufenthaltsraum im UG oder haben sich im Pool amüsiert. Dieser war auch anfangs Oktober unbeheizt noch genügend warm. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden von Kaffeemaschine über Backofen, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler bis zum grossen Kühl- und Gefrierschrank. Wir haben viel vor Ort gekocht und die Küche ist für die Ferien bestens ausgestattet. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

This villa was beautiful! Had everything we were looking for as a group of friends on holiday. The pool was lovely and the house was nice and clean. Walking distance to town and the beach was a bonus. Matthijs was also a great host - responsive, friendly, and helpful!

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

L’emplacement de la maison est incroyable: à quelques mètres de la plage, dans un cadre apaisant. Point de départ idéal pour les plus belles ballades de la région le long du littoral. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de goût et des matériaux de qualité. Elle est parfaitement équipée avec tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour passer un séjour de rêve (fond de maison impeccable, cuisine équipée, bbq, serviettes de plage, etc) . Stephanie à pensé à tout! Cette maison est une parfaite maison de bord de mer, mais se transforme aussi en cocon doux et chaleureux grâce au poêle à bois quand la météo est moins clémente. Stephanie est une hôte parfaite, pleine d’attentions et toujours disponible. Encore merci pour tout ! Dernier point: vous trouverez en face de la maison 2 délicieux restaurants proposant des poissons grillés incroyables! Ce fut un séjour de rêve! nous quittons cette maison avec des souvenirs plein la tête et nous espérons y revenir bientôt !

Wow, what a stunning property. Absolutely gorgeous and the best view. Photos don’t even do it justice! John and Sarah were incredible hosts, very helpful, friendly and their recommendations in the guidebook were excellent - thank you both so much. We had the most fantastic time and would love to come back again soon!

The house is placed in a very calm residential area but close to very beautiful spots (including a nice 10-minute walk to a breathtaking walk on the coast cliffs). It was fully equipped with all useful appliances and very spacious. You can either stay in and enjoy the garden and the swimming pool or walk around the area or take the car to do some sightseeing. Harald was ready to answer all our questions and to help us both before our departures and during our stay. We found the place clean and tidy. We truly recommend the place.

We spent ten days at the villa as a group of eight and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The location is undoubtedly one of the villa’s strongest assets: situated directly on the cliffs, it offers impressive views and a peaceful atmosphere. The walk into town takes around 15 to 20 minutes and leads to a variety of restaurants, cafés, and bars - ideal for evenings out without needing a car. The villa itself is well maintained, spacious, and comfortable. It was cleaned twice during our stay, and fresh bed linen was offered, which we appreciated. The house manager was very friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond whenever we had a question or request. Communication was smooth and uncomplicated throughout. Overall, we found the villa to be an excellent base for our holiday – well located, well managed, and well suited to a group. We would certainly consider staying here again. 👍🏽

Highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to visit Carvoeiro. It’s a 5 minute walk away from the beach and town and also near some of the best restaurants! The apartment itself is very well kept and nicely decorated. Even better than the photos! The complex is quiet and feels safe. We had the pool to ourself on many occasions. Ana was kind enough to leave us a travel cot, high chair and baby bath at no extra cost. We really hope to visit again!

the house was splendid and the place itself with the pool and the garden was so peaceful. The house is decorated, functional, cosy and warm. The exterior is amazing and beautiful. We had an amazing week in this place and we will come back for sure. Thanks again to Margarida for being so nice with us. We were thinking about a comment to make for improvement but there is not, every is already perfect in this house !!

Helder was an amazing guest. The property was perfect for a last minute couple retreat, we hired a car which is advised if you want to easily get to places like albufiera. We attended a lovely local gym called Urban fit for the gym heads and went to a different beach everyday. The inspire bar is run by a lovely family who were more than happy to recommend lovely places to eat and theirs a large Aldi just 3 minute drive down the road or 20 min walk x

Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Sie entspricht absolut den Fotos. Die Lage ist perfekt. Wir haben uns in diese wunderschöne Wohnung verliebt. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Très agréable, disponible et réactive, Laurie a toujours été présente en cas de besoin. Le logement est très joliment aménagé et très fonctionnel. Le roof top, une pure merveille pour profiter de la vue, du coucher de soleil au cours d’un apéro, d’un diner… Garage privé pour faciliter le stationnement dans une rue où toutes les places sont rapidement utilisées. Je recommande sans hésitation. Encore Merci Laurie pour ce séjour

Debora was a fantastic host, very accommodating and check in and check out was very easy. The apartment was wonderful and spotless, it has everything you need for a lovely stay. It’s the perfect location and very close to all the amenities of Carvoeiro. We followed Debora’s restaurant recommendations which were excellent too. Thank you Debora!

Florence et Jean-Christophe ont été de parfaits hôtes, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour ! Tout était parfait ! Le logement était impeccable conforme à la description et aussi dans le moindre petit détail… comme par exemple pouvoir se faire un petit café le matin ou les serviettes de bains et de plages à disposition. Le logement ne manque de rien. Ils ont été tous les deux très accueillant et aussi de bons conseils pour visiter la région, les villes et les magnifiques plages aux alentours, sans oublier la piscine chauffée à disposition, et la décoration colorée qui ne manque pas de charme. Un grand merci pour l’adresse du restaurant que vous nous avez suggéré « À Paleta à Lagoa» un moment suspendu pendant ce séjour ! Une adresse typique à ne pas manquer lors du soirée Fado. Nous recommandons sans hésitation et ne manquerons pas de revenir pour continuer à découvrir ce beau pays et le Sud du Portugal. Amitiés Aurelie et Jean-Yves 😊

This is the most beautiful house, in one of the few remaining unspoilt parts of the Algarve coast. It is very well-equipped and there are lovely walks, both in the countryside behind and along the cliffs. A very pretty, and not very populated, beach is a five-minute walk and a slight scramble down a cliff path away. Cecilia is incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We have just spent 5 days at Paul’s Villa as Grandparents,Daughter, Son-in-law and baby. It was a perfect place with plenty of open plan area. Air Conditioned bedrooms opening out onto the patio which is really nice. Immaculately clean throughout & everything you could possibly require in the kitchen. Outside the Pool is awesome,a fabulous size & clean as a whistle! We opted for pool heating for the baby & really enjoyed that luxury ourselves! Plenty of comfortable seating, shaded areas & sun umbrellas.We made use of the bbq most nights. We ate out twice at the Lighthouse Restaurant a few mins walk a from the Villa which Paul booked for us. Such a nice restaurant, fab food, service & beautiful view. Paul is very friendly, chatty & keen to help with anything you should require. Living across from the Villa he is on hand should you need him

we booked marta'a villa 6 days before we were due to head to portugal as our first villa cancelled. marta was extremely accommodating kind and friendly, she knew we were bringing two small kids and she made sure we had everything we needed for them and left them some sweets to enjoy. she was great at giving us recommendations and when we did have a small issue she sorted it immediately. the house was spotless and perfect for all ages being between 5 and 65! the pool was a massive hit by all, as was the pool table. we would recommend anyone and everyone to book this house it was everything and more we could have hoped for. thank you again marta

Een fantastische plek, prachtige tuin en een brandschone villa waar alles is wat je nodig hebt. De hosts zijn vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar.

We had a great stay, the villa was well positioned, spacious, very clean and perfect for a multi-generation family break. Communication with host was excellent. We had a great stay at the villa and look forward to visiting again soon.

The pictures do not do justice for this place. There are mulberry trees, fig trees, almond trees, strawberry plant, herb garden, and so much more. Sitting outside you can enjoy the beautiful Mountain View along with view of the ocean . Miriam was always very responsive to all our questions. We were a family of 5: 23& 22 year old girls & our 15 year old son. They enjoyed the clean pool and the scenery as well. We were all sad leaving this airbn.

Wir hatten schöne zwei Wochen in dem Ferienhaus. Es ist wie auf den Fotos bzw. in der Beschreibung. 5 min. außerhalb von Armação in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Der Pool war super schön und sauber. Das Haus wurde sogar nach einer Woche gereinigt und Bettwäsche/Handtücher getauscht. Am ersten Tag ging die Kaffeemaschine nicht, diese wurde am nächsten Tag gleich ausgetauscht. Wirklich super Sevice! Außerdem ist eine Waschmaschine vorhanden, dies stand nicht in der Beschreibung. Ein Minuspunkt gibt es für das Internet. Dieses ging die letzten zwei Tage nicht mehr und wurde auf unsere Nachfrage hin auch nicht mehr aktiviert. Warum, wissen wir leider nicht…

This was the best Airbnb we have stayed in for over 10yrs. From day 1 we felt at home and wanted to book to stay here again. It's location was perfect for us, as we have friends close by but it was also very peaceful without being remote from local facilities. The kitchen was well equipped, the garden and pool maintained weekly to keep it all in tip top condition. It was a very relaxing home and we can't wait to return.
